Thanks for making this video it was super informative and helpful!! I was given one of these without any instructions so I’ve been clueless how to clean it, now just got to figure out how to work it🤣
Yes remove as seen in the video but only handle the filter by the top part, you can put it in a clean bowl while you clean the machine then put it back as normal! Thanks for watching x
I clean mine once a week. I find this just stops any build up in the pipes and it makes it super safe for baby to drink the water then. The manufacturer suggest cleaning at every filter change, but I think 3 months is way too long. Remember how delicate babies stomachs are… the cleaner the better! Glad you enjoyed. I’d be really grateful if you subscribed for more content 🥰
Hi When I don’t change filter just yet but running cleaning for prep machine, do I remove filter and stand it upside down? I saw it somewhere… once removed from container filter was placed upside down on surface… when cleaning was complete filter has gone back to the container green part up. Thanks!
Personally I don’t. I just put it in some clean water to stand because if it falls over then it will get dirty. You can just put it in a clean bowl to stop that from happening x
No need as the hopper is what holds the water before it goes into the tank- so it will be wet when you use it anyway. If you aren’t planning on using the machine for a while then definitely dry it x
I made the mistake of thinking the cleaning cycle had a set time! The machine would make an awful noise when it was running out of water so I kept filling it thinking it needed it not realising the cleaning cycle needed to use up all the water to stop 🙈

Honestly a godsend of a product if you know how to take care of it properly! I’m glad you found this video helpful x
Most instructional video. Thank you! X
You are so welcome! xx
Great video! Quick question, when you clean it each week how do you just remove the filter and clean as normal then put the same filter back? Xx

Thank you for this video
Hey! Did you say you were doing a video for the day and night machine too?
Hi! Yes, I will be filming this video in the next few days ❤️
Great thanks
How often would you clean your machine? Fantastic video by the way

Hi
When I don’t change filter just yet but running cleaning for prep machine, do I remove filter and stand it upside down? I saw it somewhere… once removed from container filter was placed upside down on surface… when cleaning was complete filter has gone back to the container green part up.
Thanks!

Would I just use the same method to descale the day and night machine? I can’t find the video
The water doesn’t seem to be going through the filter it’s been 10 minutes and the machine still says there’s not water? Any ideas why
Do you take the filter out to run the cleaning cycle even if it doesn’t need a new filter?
I would always take it out as I run sterilising fluid through my machine and you don’t want that passing through or touching the filter. Xx
Do you dry the inside of the hopper before putting the actual hopper in?
No need as the hopper is what holds the water before it goes into the tank- so it will be wet when you use it anyway. If you aren’t planning on using the machine for a while then definitely dry it x
Which light is the for filter changing?
Did you ever do the video for new day and night machine? If so can you send me link as can’t find it. Thanks
Unfortunately we no longer use our prep machine as we can’t use it with our sons specialist formula. X
I made the mistake of thinking the cleaning cycle had a set time! The machine would make an awful noise when it was running out of water so I kept filling it thinking it needed it not realising the cleaning cycle needed to use up all the water to stop 🙈
Does the tomme tippe machine need a filter after baby is 1 year old? They drink tap water anyway?
I never tried using mine without a filter. We stopped using it at 6 months as our son had specialist formula.
100 video on youtube with prep machine but none showed how to fit the robber sealed
£10 on Amazon prime day for thé filter
Amazing!
Are you an army wife by any chance🤣🤣
No. What makes you say that?
@@emiliexanne ah sorry!! The kitchen looks exactly like ours!! Not a bad thing it’s just the same army standard looking counter and cupboards 😃
