TWO railtours 'take over' Crewe station11th August 2021

The Welsh Marches Express and the Northern Belle, both return to Crewe within a couple of minutes of each other.
First 90002 is seen coming into the UDL, ( stopping alongside 'thunderbird' 57304 ) ready to take over from the steam and return the Welsh Marches Express to Wigan.
Minutes later the Northern Belle arrives into platform 11 led by 57314 with 57313 on the rear.
As soon as this comes to a stop, 46100 'Royal Scot' arrives at platform 12 with the Welsh Marches Express.
Royal Scot is then uncoupled and draws forward to the stop on the WCML slow line, and later returns through the station to the depot.
Electric loco ,class 90. 90002 'Wolf of Badenoch', then draws forward and reverses back on to train.
Next, 90002 is seen leaving for Wigan, followed straight after by 57313 taking the Northern Belle ECS back to Carnforth.
Finally a shot of 46100, back on the diesel depot.

Good video I like the 80s Livery of 90002 and the blue class 47 it brings back memories of 1986 when I was out spotting in Manchester piccadilly! Nice to see old workhorses still in use!!!🥰

What a spendid collection of classic British traction. Puts me in mind of happier times gone by, rather like how Crewe used to be.
I keep wanting to see 90001/2 for myself but can never find any info on them...

Outstanding footage and a just reward for your research, skill and patience. Again, sorry to say it but your wonderful cinematography puts to shame the neglected state of Crewe Station, such beautiful, Renaissance influenced bi-chromatic brickworks rampant with weeds, as with Line-side infrastructure.
