The pin idea is a winner. Pintle hitch is strong but having it banging you all day long is tired some. Will be something to watch in a wet harvest. To see how well the super wide treads do.
This is such a far cry from what I used as a kid growing up in rural Indiana. I had a open cab JD 4440 pulling a single axle 300 bushel cart to start with. Then we got a second cart to form a little train. But the combines we had were half the size of what he’s using today. I bet I logged 100k miles a year on that cart. Seemed like it at least. And for $2 an hour. But back in the 70s that was big bucks for a kid in school.
I am all for helping the charities for farmers for Gods sake I am a farmer but I am also a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan and for a Grain Cart that is called a patriot I cannot think of anything more patriotic than a wounded warrior of war and and I can't think of anything that is in more need than the Wounded Warrior Project, the Tunnels to Towers project and the Folds Of Honor Foundation. just my opinion. BTW I own a J&M grain cart on tracks and I love it. Less compaction and floats across wet ground better than my tire grain cart that is also a a J&M.
What I dislike. (Because mine is same) the ladder. First part is reverse slope. There is no reason it couldn’t be strait with a brace from frame. (At least mine) there is no tire while turning conflict. So I grab step ladder in yard as climbing reverse slope with broom is a pita. Heck a storable ladder would be better. Swing down to climb.
The ladder on X-Tended Reach grain carts can appear confusing but is actually very simple. We made a very short video to show how it works. Please check it out: ruclips.net/video/LTc8Mf-2Z_M/видео.html
@@JMmanufacturing ok I was complete wrong. My cart is not a J&M and has a slight reverse slope. I try to park on hill to reduce it if going to look inside. They have the storable ladder. Sorry.
Assume you are talking power via PTO? I would think powering the cart could lead to some tricky issues if it starts pushing the tractor, but I am not a farmer, so just an opinion.
I love the kids running around in the background, makes me feel like I’m there
It's so easy to operate, a 10 year old kid could handle it. And Onyx has done so during this corn season!

Good to see J&M keeping up with todays technology in Agriculture !
Nice looking grain cart. Love the Patriotic logo, and that J&M donates to farming charities.
Millennial Farmer is one of my favorite channels. Onyx will probably be using this cart a lot this fall.
Great looking product. Appreciate you showcasing the new model.
Nice cart, big fan of Millennial Farmer

Sharp cart. Awesome features. Cant wait to see it in action.
really do like these carts, they look like they do a fantastic job
Here because of Millennial Farmer!
That was great... I'm contacting J&M today to get one... Thanks
I remember driving past a corn field and I saw Zach harvesting with that grain cart
Hej from sweden nice maskin tacks good works
I didn't think he was ever going to leave... 😆 🤣
I’m hauling a J&M cart now to SD
2:00 Nobody yet? Nothing Jim can't handle 😆
Great American ingenuity in agreat patriot grain cart allowing a time saving system to load grain and avoid compaction of your fields
Nice cart.
The bosses approved it ... 2 and 3 thumbs up!!
Not a fair evaluation though. Onyx's feedback would have been substantial!
Well Jim will still manage to bog it, he's an expert at it. 🤣🤣🤣, Sorry Jim

1:10 I am almost ready to believe tracks have a PSI....
J&M kicking balzer and Brent grain carts to da curb.

@@JMmanufacturing I wonder how the h@@@ will somebody climb on this? It's great you had the video and answered the comment. TY.
Can I fill it with water and use as a swimming pool, ? and will a car payment cover it ?
I'm sure you could fit some kind of pond/pool liner in and hey presto you have your very own mobile swimming pool, J&M just think of everything.
Are these manufactured anywhere other than in Ohio? I’m like 12 miles from that plant
She sure is beautiful
They still have a ways to go to catch Kinze's 2596.
It’s a Brandt 2596
You guys should have borrowed their microphone as the wind noise is real bad.
Will it be large enough?
You gota have a real set of nads to take on farming today
So that's why they brought it out for a day and left with it again
if you could add drive power to the track,it would be next level
In the works

@@Dave_9547 it would assist the tractor yes it’s one way by the pto. Look at the generator that you can get for planters now…
Omg, really!
Not everyone has a "STUPID" phone!
