This song is just perfect, you play it after a happy scene, this song comes on your gonna be happy. But if this plays after a sad scene your gonna be sad, it’s just perfect for every situation,
Really recommend looking up something called The Kuleshov effect, it’s one of the most important tools in modern editing and this song is a good example of it.
Hearing this ending always makes me sad cuz I remember always hearing the episode transition into this ending and something emotional or sad always happens 😭
I remember in episode 7 at the end when Honoka saw that the school will not be accepting student applications. And then this song came. When I listen to this song, I imagine Honoka peeking inside that room
Remembered listening to this ending for the first time. It didn't matter much at first but after finishing the whole show including Sunshine, the feels hit you like a train. What an amazing song. Can't wait to see what Nijigaku anime will bring.
I will leave a comment here everytime I'm done rewatching the original Love Live! seasons and movie. Season 2 Episode 11 feels really do be hittin hard tho

A small detail I just noticed in the chorus that has me in literal tears rn is that in the last two lines: Tonari ni kimi ga ite (Stay by my side) Tonari wa kimi nanda (And I’ll be by yours) It’s a call and response pattern. Honoka calls everyone to be by her side, and they respond that they will be. But they aren’t saying it to Honoka; she also echoes the second line. It’s the girls saying it to each other, which is just brilliant. Honoka is the focal point, the thing which brings μ’s together, but it also can’t exist without mutual support from everyone. Love little things like this ❤️
Thank you for making me like the song even more. This is something that I did not notice at first. It really makes the song way more sweet and sentimental. Muse will always be my favorite love live group. The first series of the anime is also just one of my favorite shows of all time now. Love Honoka so much. :D
This ending made me shed some tears when I first watched LL and I liked that feeling so much that for about 6 years in a row, I forced myself to not listen to this ending for an entire year and when the time comes, I get the same feeling and I love it.
It's so beautiful, so sad- but more like coming to an end. The end of their amazing journey, it makes you wanna cry... And I'm crying now 😭 It's like a sad/happy relief song
Fun Fact: If you search up how to cry this is the second result Bokutachi wa hitotsu no hikari is first. Aishiteru Banzai is 3rd and Bokura no Live Kimi to no Life is 4th Angelic Angel is in 5th.
Not every song can produce nostalgia on first listen. I only started SIP this week but this song made me feel like I'd been hearing it since the show started. And that guitar in between choruses makes me always think of Mission Street, and if anything makes me think of Sonic it's probably a good thing.
ive finished the show and ive been rewatching the second season for 3 times and ive decided to rewatch the first season and this song takes me back to my first reactions of the show i just missed those reactions but im glad ive decided to rewatch the show
