In episode 102 of the Desire To Trade Podcast, I interview Forex trader Navin Prithyani, who I had the chance to meet in Bangkok, Thailand to record this episode.
Navin has been trading Forex for well over a decade. During this time he went through all the phases of a successful trader and through all the hardships to reach every next phase. These days Navin is giving back to the trading community by teaching his knowledge to both new and experienced traders. During this process, he also discovered that he also has a talent for teaching.

Great interview and man, he's on point about the Psychology part!! I've been in this for 11 months and just now grasp the concept of how the market really works, set ups to look for and most of all, practice patience.

If I understand you Navin as to why you are self conceding to suggest your interests are totally "selfish".
That if we do well or learn to be profitable then that in turn justifies that your method is the right & eventually best way to ever trade forex hands down! And that truth justifies you & your successfulness as a #1 forex market guru leader. As u mention to make urban forex or your business the #1 most successful business in the world perhaps in online trading, training, & educating.
----Navin, your goal to be the best @ what you do is what some would call compulsive obsessive. Or many would simply say that he is extremely dedicated to being the best. I'm wired that way as well.
Certainly nothing wrong with your thinking so long as those around you that are loved ones do not suffer do to your extreme focus.
U can not get back the time you could of spent with family, friends, wife, children, etc. And if your denying your urges to be married & even possibly have a family & children I can tell u 100% your suffering & u just don't know it!
Now, here's the biggie that gets me kicked out of the sand box with toys......
If your looking to boast in a self achieveing, self accomplishing, pride based mentality of believing you are the greatest @ what you do & only you are to be given the recognition for your achievements........then my friend the end of days will be a nightmare of day to day lost opportunities that will come like a thief in the night & Rob you of life in an instant & it's gone......all that mattered in the here & now. Will also be gone.
Yes, I'm a Christian, counselor, & prayer warrior to those God would put on my heart. I absolutely love forex trading & look forward to becoming Financially independent for my family to enjoy. But, the biggest picture of truth as a Christian for me is, "My God will supply all my needs according to His riches & glory."

That was a job Navin had in a bank. If I remember well, he went full-time earning around $20k (living in India).
