Love the claymation. And the information, too. And the night sky at the end. Thank you.

thank you for the animations. Enchanted Rock was where us Llano kids just starting to drive, would load up kin and friends and head down there to hike and climb the rock, and go through the cave at the back. I love this place.

Back in '78 I was camping out on top for the night and when i woke up at about 2 am there was a full grown female cougar sitting next to me, she saw me awaken and leaned over and smelled me up and down and then sat back down and enjoyed the warmth of my camp fire. She was gorgeous and and hung out with me for about 10 minutes and then went on her way. I like to think of that as a spirit guide visiting me that night.

When I was 12, I tripped and fell on a cactus at Enchanted Rock. Thought y’all ought to know.

Great video! I'm furthering my research into Texas parks and their geological history.

Went there today and towards the top there was a bunch of hollow spots everywhere, you could tap your foot and hear the hollowness. Could be the shedding but it sounded pretty deep

I hear it makes creaming noise - do you know why? Alao I heard that it has caves, is that from the crust crunch? Great visual and video.

I'm doing a bit of research on Enchanted Rock, is there any chance you have links to any of the sources this information is from? Thanks!

Glad to hear you're researching Enchanted Rock! The field trip guide that I included in the credits had most of the information I used in the video - if you want a pdf of it, shoot me an email and I can send it over to you. I also used the book, Enchanted Rock: A Natural and Human History - it gave a detailed look into the geologic features found at E-Rock - I think I found it at UT Austin's online library.

Good information in this video, but you need to enunciate and speak more clearly.

Difficult to understand the narrative. Why run syllables together in a long monolog tailing off to a quiet mumble. I speak 3 languages and had a difficult time understanding the speech. My wife and stepson have a different language as their native language. They could understand very little. Everything else was excellent. I had a botany professor at Texas (University) tell us that Psyllotum grows at the top. It does. I've seen it.

Agreed, the speaker doesn't enunciate things with enough clarity, which is a shame because there's good info in this video.
