    Do you struggle with your low notes? I have put together 5 singing exercises that will teach you how to sing lower. If you want to learn how to get a deeper voice (while most singers are striving for those high notes!) incorporate these vocal exercises into your daily practice. This set of exercises is in a male key so it is perfect for baritone and tenor voice types. Bass singers probably don't need to worry about singing lower however it is a great bass vocal warm up for you.

    As a tenor (somewhere around A4 up to C5 in good days) i must say that kind of exercises help a lot, i was focused on improving my high notes, which i am still doing to be honest, but started
    developing my low part of the voice which is underdeveloped and i actually dropped to B2 from C3 (the good days) in 3 weeks of not every day workout, so thanks for the exercises very helpful.

    This is the best set of exercises I know of on youtube designed to open up the lower ranges. Thanks so much for putting it up. Most of the time people want me to reach higher and higher, but pretty regularly people also want me to plumb the depths of bass, because I can, and it's rarer than the high voices. But the exercises I do to extend my range higher work against my ability to go low. These exercises effectively counter that, quickly and efficiency. There is little else out there that does what you do with this video. Gratitude!!!

    I can reach down to C#2, but all I wanted was to reach higher notes because for me being bass is boring, low notes everywhere and straining a falsetto. But I realized that embracing who I am is the only way because singing has nothing to do with our vocal types. So here I am, practicing some low notes and continually loving it.

      I've heard that when your voice is untrained the lower notes are easier to reach, as you mature more you can access your high notes with more clarity but you lose those low notes. I'm 17 with a vocal range of G#2-G4 when I first started 2 years ago my range was F2-E4 as you can see I lost some low notes.

      Try to have to do get lower fry vocal fry it really helps strengthn chest and make them. I fry. Fry down to D0 and have c2/B1. Im 15 so ive reached my limit at my age

      @antemahoney4376 3 года назад

      if you would want to increase range that is fine but there is a right and wrong way and as much as fry is somewhat helpful it isnt a definitive for incresing range the main thing to work on is learning to project your low notes but not your extreme low notes just gradually work downwards with proper projection and youll find that as much as you can go lower if you dont have the projection there it really isnt a singable note so the most important thing is to make suree you have proper technique and ressonance in both your upper and lower registers because working on one register at a time can potentially damage your voice if done wrong
      i hope this helps

    I know its late comment but i feel like i can get some help. In this winter i was easily hitting a C2-D2 whole day and in the morning i could hit a B1 maybe lower. I had a record me hitting like a G1. I had like a big pause to singing bass and kinda messed up with different technics. Now i want to start all over again and i see that now i can hit D2-E2 and sometimes C2, but no same power. All this progress was hit since like october-november to march-april 2019-2020. Than i stoped the practice until now. I was 15 when started, 16 now. How do you think i ll improve and what should i do. I m waiting for opinions, answers, maybe diets aswell.
    Edit: forgot to say that i have alergy with some respiration problemes because dust and old things(so i dont now if i can be constant because of this) and i m also used to inhale on my mouth while singing. Now i m trying to inhale on nose but a bit hard after all the years

      safely singing close to your lowest note can help get your voice more comfortable in a lower register, but it takes time. It took me three years of singing at least 5 hours a week to hit a G1 but I succeeded so I bet you can too.

    Two questions:
    1. Am tenor (I think) I hot a high tone. I can hit low notes but struggle some days, good days bad days. I want to learn how to sing higher notes as well. So wondering will this help and strengthen my mixed voice? I can focus on this video and the higher mixed voice one too
    2. Can I focus on this and sing a long low note singer's such as Eddie bedder, Frank sinatra, Johnny cash and will be able to strengthen?

      You do realize that fry is not harmful when doing it relaxed and it's actually a great way to help you accommodate your vocal chords to sing low without putting pressure to your throat?

    • @proverbalizer
      @proverbalizer 5 лет назад +2

      I would say pick a comfortable lowish midrange note, sustain it with no vocal fry then continue holding it while adding vocal fry, then taking it away...back and forth like that. You should gain more conscious control over the muscles that play role in fry or lack thereof... now try moving to lower notes... and doing the same

    • @drummingfrog463

      A good way to help develop lower vocal strength is to start using it everyday. I have a thick lower voice when singing as well as speaking. I speak naturally in my lower register all the time. That helps me to maintain my lower range. You may also find that the more strength you have in your lower range, the less effort you will have to use to be heard. As the lower register is naturally more resonant. I can barely speak in my lower register and my voice can be heard over 50 feet away because of my natural resonance.
