If I hard carried the siege of terra like perty and still got no recognition I would also go sulk on a deamon world. Dude was the single most useful traitor primarch. He was done dirty by his brothers and by the community.

The Imperial Fists are the only Chapter that has been almost completely wiped out TWICE. Once during the Iron Cage and Again during the War of the Beast.
The Phallanx is the Imperium’s single greatest weapon and the Imperial Fists use it as a battle barge. They’re so concerned with loosing it they barely even bring it to engagements and it’s usually just a big target for the enemy anyways.
They have to recruit from so many different worlds because they can’t stop dying.
You can also thank Dorn for the Inquisition.
Dorn also REALLY fucked up at Phall. I don’t know why he thought one company of fists could do what 4 Legions couldn’t do at Istvaan. He pretty much just threw them boys away for no reason. They coulda helped with the siege.
The only legion to lose a seige you designed. Bro. Wtf hahahah thats hurtful. No wonder the Ironfists became traitors
Iron Warriors, Not fist. I See you don't know much sbout warhammer40k. If you did you know the Ironhands are a completely different Legion/now chapter led by Ferrus Manus not Perty... also the have completely different Heraldics. Maybe go back n learn more about 40k before writing some bs.

How much or a Dornian simp do you have to be to write the Iron Cage into a victory for the imperial fists?
They were utterly crippled by that siege. It's probably why they lost their primarch to traitors and were ultimately wiped out during the War of the Beast.
Not to mention perty got to become a demon primarch afterwards purely because the chaos gods were important by how badly dorn eas humiliated by it. The Iron cage is the reason dorn accepted the codex astartes, because his actions were so bull headed and stupid he realised Guilliman was right that nobody should have that much power.
Now, i can see how you would conclude that the imperial fists did win the iron cage, they broke through all the fortifications. But it was a phyric victory at best, and the objective of "Peter turbos head in cage" was no achieved, so, like, really bad showing for the fists, objective achieved for the iron warriors.

Well it's not Perty won either so it was a loss all around.
But you could say Guilliman won.
Perty outnumbered and surrounded Dorn and needed the help of chaos buffed Legions and uncountable daemons. Dorn had 3 Legions. Mortal Imperial Army. Perturabo essentially had the entire traitor army at his disposal
Meanwhile, Dorn willingly walked into a trap he knew was a trap and Perty still couldn’t get a decisive dub. And bailed when another Legion decided to show up. He can’t take the heat like Dorn can. On top of that, he became a slave to the chaos gods for all eternity 😂
Iron Warriors and peter turbo continue taking Ls. All because peter needed daddy’s approval womp womp. Iron within my ass. They’re soft as fuck and constantly need validation from everyone around them. They’re just sore babies that like to pretend they’re stoic and uncaring. And even then, the Imperial Fists beat them at that lol

He wiped out 90% of the Imperial Fists, who were at the head of the Scouring forces. The Scouring was blunted.
Dorn himself was almost killed, and it was clearly his fault walking straight into that trap.
Why would Perty bother sticking around to fight two Primarchs where he already succeeded at humiliating one?
Rowboat has plenty of time to get humiliated now, as hive fleet Leviathan has most recently demonstrated.
