Excellent video much better than the companies. I had a hard time with how the bottom seatbelt strap went. Too tight the dog can't move. Too loose the dog gets tangled. Thank you.
What would be really useful was if you filmed the dogs in their harnesses in the car - moving around and sitting, etc whilst you did the narration from behind the camera. I feel that you'd need a hammock to stop them sliding off the seat and on to the floor. Quite a few photos of the dog stood on all fours - so forward movement would be enough for at least their front legs to drop in to the footwell. And we shouldn't forget that the dog won't necessarily be squarely facing the direction of impact when the accident happens.
Thanks for the suggestion, we did our best! We do have the Ruffwear Dirtbag Seat Cover in the car for Sam to use along with the Load Up Harness. That can be found here: www.backcountryedge.com/ruff-wear-dirtbag-seat-cover-2018.html
where can I get those seat covers you have on your back seats? I would love something like that so that my seats aren't getting trashed when I load up dog who just got done rolling around in dirt lol. thanks! :)
+Grace Blouin That item is the Ruff Wear Dirtbag Seat Cover. You can check it out on our RUclips channel or at our website here: www.backcountryedge.com/ruff-wear-dirt-bag-seat-cover.html Thanks for watching!
Notice that there's no ACTUAL load up taking place in this video. This information only matters if you can actually show what you are saying. For instance, it seems obvious that movement of the animal is going to be significantly restricted, but you weren't able to show otherwise because the video never shows the dot actually attached and given the opportunity to move around.
Love your Dog
We too!
