He sincerely apologized to the poet(owner of the expression). Even the poet posted the twitt that he was so impressed by Rm that how he deal with the mistake and contact him personally and apologized. The poet said using his expression was totally fine for him but after RM admit plagiarism only single sentences, antis tried to make a numerous rumors that he is copycat of all things and use his mistakes and apology as a chance…😢
The guy who made the twt was even surprised how bad it got and said he handled it wrong too. I'm glad Joon still chose to address it and that the two talked it out between themselves. But, tbh, it was a stretch even then for anyone, esp the media, to call plagiarism bc of a line in a twt. There was never a legal issue involved (probably bc it was only a twt) but the real problem was that it made antis feel like they could exaggerate the incident and push the word on any and everything related to BTS to the point that it makes it clear that ppl don't actually know the real meaning of the word and really have no idea how the music industry or laws related to it work. Even now, you have weirdos trying to say sampling is the same as plagiarism 🙄
I think the biggest reason for their success is that while other artists were doing promotional ad and events which were developed by their company but bts chose to show armies how they are growing by daliy log and keep themselves real and not putting a fake image and even lunched a show like run bts and bon voyage and bts in the soop to entertain armies make them laugh and they always shows us that keep loving yourself and be happy in every situation in your life and they always keep us with themselves in every moment of their life because of this i am proud to say i am army
