Praise God prescious servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. Its not a Godly thing to celebrate birthday. If you read the bible its only Pharoah and Herod who cerebrated their birthdays and what did they do on their birthdays?
Job 1:1-4... Celebrating ones birthday is also an opportunity to celebrate God's faithfulness. It doesn't matter what other people did or do with their birthdays. Question should be how's your heart with the Lord? How are you going to celebrate your birthday? Will it truly celebrate and glorify the Lord?

Job 1:4 (MSG) His sons used to take turns hosting parties in their homes, always inviting their three sisters to join them in their merrymaking. The best way to understand scriptures is to read them in different Bible versions and Bible Commentary. This is what many pastors, apostles, prophets, etc. have failed to do and they have been teaching wrong doctrines, twisting scriptures thinking they understand them.
