    como aplicar eso en el trabajo en campo de la metal mecanica, si hay energia de la corriente electrica. y el batidero de agua va contra la seguridad e higiene

    • @WatechNorway
      @WatechNorway  7 лет назад

      Hi Uriel,
      The Abrajet can be used in hazardous areas due to the fact that the cut is cold, hence it won't produce hot sparks. The cutting process is not done by hand, it is controlled remotely by the operator at a distance. This is to ensure the health and safety of the operator, as well as ensuring the best possible cut.
      Regards
      Anders, Watech

    What about power consumption, pump capacity, pressure levels and maintenance... !!!

    • @WatechNorway
      @WatechNorway  6 лет назад

      Hi Afzal,
      Power consumption, capacity and pressure levels differ based on which Abrajet you have.
      But the power ranges from 15-55 kW on standard models, and pressure levels go from 350 bar to 1400 bar.
      As for maintenance, the Abrajet does not require much maintenance. It's basically seals / valves / oil in the pump, and some of the valves in the slurry unit. And of course checking bearings on the motor.
      Regards
      Anders, Watech

    I think its an hot water with some kind of chemical with high pressure and sharp nossle. you cannot say its an water cutting. ( According to my understanding)

    • @WatechNorway
      @WatechNorway  6 лет назад

      Hi,
      The Abrajet uses high pressure water, combined with an abrasive slurry to achieve the watercutting / blasting effect. There is no hot water or chemicals.

      Anders, Watech.

      WatechNorway what is the difference between lazer cutting and this

    • @WatechNorway
      @WatechNorway  7 лет назад +2

      Dear Arturo,
      Watercutting is a cold cut, laser is hot. Basically, when you use watercutting, it does not
      -create heat in the cut, potentially creating a Heat Affected Zone, or discoloration
      -Produce sparks (meaning it can be used in Hazardous Areas)
      Also, laser is hard to use in the field, and has a certain range of thicknesses it can handle.
      Regards,
      Anders, Watech

    • @WatechNorway
      @WatechNorway  6 лет назад

      Hello gimnazijci četrti letnik B
      In many cases, using the Abrajet is the best option for cutting whatever needs to be cut. The locations where the Abrajet has been used, water is abundant.
      Also, it really depends on the application whether or not the Abrajet is more efficient than other tools. Like every piece of equipment, it has it's areas where it shines, and some applications where it doesn't.

    • @WatechNorway

      The Abrajet uses approx 15 - 20 l/min of water, based on the size of the Abrajet.
      It uses about 3,5 kg/min of abrasive, which is 80 mesh garnet sand.
