como aplicar eso en el trabajo en campo de la metal mecanica, si hay energia de la corriente electrica. y el batidero de agua va contra la seguridad e higiene
Hi Uriel, The Abrajet can be used in hazardous areas due to the fact that the cut is cold, hence it won't produce hot sparks. The cutting process is not done by hand, it is controlled remotely by the operator at a distance. This is to ensure the health and safety of the operator, as well as ensuring the best possible cut. Regards Anders, Watech
Hi Afzal, Power consumption, capacity and pressure levels differ based on which Abrajet you have. But the power ranges from 15-55 kW on standard models, and pressure levels go from 350 bar to 1400 bar. As for maintenance, the Abrajet does not require much maintenance. It's basically seals / valves / oil in the pump, and some of the valves in the slurry unit. And of course checking bearings on the motor. Regards Anders, Watech
I think its an hot water with some kind of chemical with high pressure and sharp nossle. you cannot say its an water cutting. ( According to my understanding)
Hi, The Abrajet uses high pressure water, combined with an abrasive slurry to achieve the watercutting / blasting effect. There is no hot water or chemicals. Regards Anders, Watech.
Dear Arturo, Watercutting is a cold cut, laser is hot. Basically, when you use watercutting, it does not -create heat in the cut, potentially creating a Heat Affected Zone, or discoloration -Produce sparks (meaning it can be used in Hazardous Areas) Also, laser is hard to use in the field, and has a certain range of thicknesses it can handle. Regards, Anders, Watech
WatechNorway hello dear my email address mughalarifiron@gmail.com plz tell me my Riqwerd cutting thickness 1 mm to 100 mm plz tell me what’s price this

Hello gimnazijci četrti letnik B In many cases, using the Abrajet is the best option for cutting whatever needs to be cut. The locations where the Abrajet has been used, water is abundant. Also, it really depends on the application whether or not the Abrajet is more efficient than other tools. Like every piece of equipment, it has it's areas where it shines, and some applications where it doesn't. Regards Anders, Watech
I did the same thing for decades, only with oxy-acetylene. A lot faster, cheaper, less equipment, and a better edge prep. Your abrajet doesn't impress me.

Interesting and Creativ
Is this way of cutting cheaper than other ways?
In many cases it is, yes. Especially when we are talking about cutting something big out in the field, or under water.

Anders, Watech
The blades are cheap to replace lol.

thats really unbelievable
We can assure you that it's real:) We have cut up to 500mm thick steel with the Abrajet.
WatechNorway what is the difference between lazer cutting and this

Dear Shinji,
The Abrajet uses 80 mesh garnet sand as abrasive.

It's amazing
Awesome
and just when u thought u have seen everything!..
água ou ácido em alta pressão?🤔
Hi there! The Abrajet uses high pressure water, with an abrasive mixed in the water via a slurry system. The abrasive used is 80 mesh garnet sand.
Wow 😮
Really??? Its happened
That has to be like, a million PSI!
Hi,
Mostly 600 bar / 8.700 psi was used for this video.
Regards
Anders, Watech
Nice machine
v nice
But why would you want to waste all that water? And on top of all, it takes a lot more time

is metal get heat while cutting ?.....
Dear Mani,
No, when using watercutting the cut is cold. So the material does not get hot.

Anders, Watech

WatechNorway wau thats a massive pressure .
And abrajet uses only water or something else mixed with water??
The Abrajet uses 80 mesh garnet sand mixed with the water.
The Abrajet used in this film is the Abrajet 600 bar.
WatechNorway yeah i was sure something goes with water , because water havent got enaught power to cut through the metal .
Thanks for reply

dont plays with water that can kill you
Что такой эта экиструмент
thats lots of water tobe waste. .
it actually uses very little water. only 20% of whats in the stream is water. The other 80% is the abrasives
The Abrajet uses approx 15 - 20 l/min of water, based on the size of the Abrajet.
It uses about 3,5 kg/min of abrasive, which is 80 mesh garnet sand.
That's over a ton of water every hour.
