Use item frame instead. Turn the item in the frame to open the door. Pretty much any entity that can transmit a signal the way about lever can can be used for this
If you want to make it completely hidden put the lever on the inner side of the wall and throw a wind charge on the lever wich is on the inside (throw the wind charge from the outside)
How to activate bottom pistons I’m on Java and bottom pistons not working and the top pistons are being pushed and getting stuck and everytime that happens I have to break the pistons and redo it
