@@slipknotdiscographies I have the album on CD, Cassette and almost every version of the CD release. Best part about the tape is you can get that version for like 12 bucks usually and it's getting rarer due to like it being a cassette and tape collectors (I collect more than Slipknot haha) like myself also like limited releases and rarities like this so you should grab a copy of Self-Titled on cassette before it's reeeal hard to get.

At 0:17 Craig Jones only did the album cover photoshoot, the photos inside the album bookle and behind is with Rob Agnello,a sound engineering assistant for the recording of the self-titled album. He wore Craig's helmet and jumpsuit since Craig was unavailable for that photoshoot.

0:17 that body cover covered in cellophane wrapper for the inside tray card of the self titled cd is actually Anthony "Satone" Stevens. He was a drum tech for Clown. Anthony appears in the Spit It Out video where he plays Roger in the bear 🐻 suit

Well I do have the 1999 self titled album, vol 3 (the subliminal verses), and All Hope Is Gone. Those are the 3 slipknot CDs I got in my truck.

Thats sick.. just now realized my self titled was actually a reissue. I got that album in early 2000. I do have the self titled import on digital pack. The packaging is different than the one you have. It's got "Get this" on it and I think another demo version or 2. Been a while since I looked at it

Live "surfacing", the radio-edit "wait and bleed" - "interloper" the b-side and the two songs that weren't part of the fourteen track version?
I can't remember but "purity" was one of them and "interloper" might have been the secret song?
@@dsxa918 I took a look at it earlier and strangely frail limb nursery and purity isn't on it but get this and Interloper is. I guess the import was made after that lawsuit because of that website purity was based on. But I do remember vividly buying it early 2000 off of Amazon and it was import digi pack. I'll take another look at it and count the tracks later lol

Did Iowa have a reason for the reissue? Or did the band just rerelease the album with a new cover for reason?
Pantagruelian This reprint of the Iowa album was the reason for the first issue with a silver cover and translucent insert, a very elaborate edition, so Slipknot re-released Iowa with cover and simple print insert, being less worked!

And im not European, so what does that 16 on the goat DVD and the antennas to hell deluxe edition mean? In America, there isn't a 16. And where is the All Hope is Gone deluxe edition? The DVD Goat is the documentary of the band in the year of 2001, Antennas to Hell Deluxe is the compilation of the best songs from 1999 to 2008, all tracks from the Download Festival show, and dvd with all the videos of the band. All Hope Is Gone Deluxe I was able to buy now, it was very difficult to find, but I did, I'll be bringing a new video soon with him and the new album of 2019, I'm really looking forward to it and waiting a lot to buy it. (I'm from Brazil) Stay sic!

That first one the black disc is the Re-Issue that features Purity it’s not the second disc you showed the red one that you said was the re-issue. Minor mistake as point being you showed you have both, but may confuse a brand new collector. Again the very first self-titled you showed the black CD is the original first re-issue containing Purity. Awesome to see your collection man 👍🤘

I understand how bad ass it'd be to own the original, but I don't think that can be possible nowadays. I have a theory tho, since it's the 20th anniversary, I'm thinking we could get an MFKR release with the s/t 20th edition. I'm hoping for this!

A lot of out of print brazilian editions. I have a couple of those editions from Slipknot and many other bands, some comes with live bonus tracks or even bonus discs, the printing of the booklets are a little bootleg-like sometimes the color tone are different but I think that's what makes them unique like japanese editions.
Exactly, I compare the Japanese records, they are much more worked, this goes from the booklet with the thickest paper to the most resistant acrylic box.

That's a cd you don't see often. I remember first getting into them serious around the time of Iowa and they were a few hundred on EBay, at that time...
I don't have the entire Slipknot collection, for me a complete collection has to have the singles CDs and I don't have them, and some other versions on CD, Vinyl..
MFKR unfortunately I think the original version is very rare today, I only have bootleg.

I have the brown iowa but i didn’t know that was a reissue. I think they just got released at the same time. (white and brown)
The Iowa reissue was released in 2006, being a less worked CD, discontinuing the manufacture of the silver version, with translucent booklet.

@HEY!YO!IT'S!RAZORCLA(E)W at the time it was definitely recognized as an album, the reason slipknot doesn't really recognize it as an official album nowadays is because it was pre-roadrunner and also before they really got popular. Their line-up was also very different from their previous line-up in the MFKR era.

I saw a guy who show the Vol 3 Slipcase version but he's both cd is black oh and he's cover after remove the Slipcase is like the normal Vol 3 cover, but you have different cover after remove the Slipcase + you have white disc. Why they have many versions?
diablo50XXX This version of the Vol3 bonus disc only changes the CD, has a CD version all Black, has the CD all white as mine and has a CD that is black but with the blue noagram, I have already seen all these versions, and on the cover different?! I just reversed the booklet, the cover versions are the same!

I only have the MFKR bootleg, which is excellent, "I'll show you on video later", but the original version of MFKR is very rare, and here in Brazil it's very difficult to find and import it too
