Very good looking shell cordovan Ralph Lauren wingtips. Also like your comparisons of your other shoes. I really like all of the shoes you featured actually, so to pick a favorite is very hard to do. All of them have special character to them.
The instep doesn't feel higher to me. The shoe just overall seems slightly smaller in volume. They fit me great with dress socks but not with thicker socks whereas the Aldens I can fit with athletic type socks and are a bit loose with dress socks. Hope this helps.
These are so nice. I've been seriously thinking about picking up a pair next time they go on sale. I wanted to ask you, since you also own the Alden wingtips. These C&J look like they have a higher instep than the Aldens, is that a fair assessment? I know you said you find them snugger than the barrie last, so I wanted to ask you, what parts of the shoe feel snugger? Thanks in advance for your answer!

I just sold my Ravello Aldens. I think that these Ralph Lauren Marlows are almost like a cross between Ravello and Cigar such that you can simplify and don't need Ravello or Cigar wingtips if you have these.
I like your Ralph Lauren CJs. That Brown is incredibly versatile!
I believe it's exclusive although perhaps other Crockett & Jones shoes use this color cordovan, I'm not entirely sure.
I have the same 3 pair of wingtips as you and don't have a preference among them. I like them all and like the way that you presented each pair. I also wear the same size in each model.
I like them both but Alden cigar is not currently being made so difficult to find. The Marlow color is a bit more versatile however.

Crockett & Jones for RL - the best in terms of overall look and style. You can't beat the #8 by Alden in terms of color though. ;)

I like the color of the Ravellos the best since it's really an eye catcher and unique. I do however like the shape of the C&J's since they are cut sleeker making for a more elegant classier look than the stouter Alden's. Since you seem to regard the C&J's to have better quality, Im guessing that they are quite a bit higher in terms of price?
You should trace an out-line in different colors on top of one another so we can see the shapes compared.
I just got a pair of these and they're wonderful! I know cordovan only needs occasional polishing but what polish or other products do you use on them? Great videos by the way.
