    When a friend of mine and I attended this taping, we were surprised by cast members Jerry ver Dorn, Andrea Evans, and Judith Light who had not been previously announced. Needless to say, the crowd went wild. Add to this was seeing Agnes Nixon and Ron Carlivati in person, too! It was an awesome experience, especially when Kassie and Andrea went into the audience to speak to members of the audience. (BTW, the taping was done a day before the final airing of OLTL.)

    I love, love, love Robin Strasser, she is hoot. And ITA about Nathan Fillion. I remember watching him as Joe Buchanan thinking “This guy is going places.” Judith Light’s dress absolutely classic, so elegant. I could imagine Audrey Hepburn in a dress just like that.
    But Whoopi, those shoes. SMH. I’m a comfortable shoe wearer myself, but yellow fleece lined Croc’s? They gave me flashbacks to early 1980s duck shoes.

    Great to see this. But wish they had given Andrea Evans more time. She was the best & original Tina Lord. And that character was iconic. But great job. Judith Light won 2 Emmys for that role. Riveting. Talk about brilliant acting. No words

      Yeah Tina was a fan favorite, especially when played by Andrea. They should have given her a whole segment

    It was so disrespectful that on this special episode of The View which was dedicated to One Life to Live, they did a voice over promoting the show replacing it!

    So sad. One life to live even with better ratings did not have the cachet of all my children. Likewise no matter how many Emmy wins sleazak could not compare with Susan Lucci. Oddly Lucci adored Slezak. Skezak was so matronly compared to Lucci but they were the same age. Still an iconic show but was a great show that just never could compete star poet with amc. In fact when the show was sold AMC garnered more money even without Susan Lucci

    • @daddy2299
      @daddy2299 3 года назад +5

      I understand why Lucci admired Slezak. She is everything Lucci wants to be respected, talented, and filled class and grace. Lucci will never be more than a forgotten soap star while Slezak will be remembered for all her achievements. The 2 are like Davis and Crawford, Slezak was a talented actress while Lucci is Crawford-a big star whose ROLE caught the public's attention, not any large talent.

    • @drewdeflon4497

      Everything, is subjective but Susan Lucci & Erica Slezak are amazing. To take pot shots @ these women-to say one is better than the other( completely different characters) is just stupid & really disrespectful to both of these women. Slezak won 6 Emmys for a reason. Lucci, was robbed of many Emmys for years till she won in 1999.

      @@daddy2299 Are you kidding me?, Susan Lucci will never be forgotten, she will never be forgotten, she's a daytime godess, just like Erica Slezak ,they are just two of the queens of daytime and they'll never be forgotten, never
