Whoever does the talent scouting/interviews for Hololive really knows what they're looking for because all of the girls are amazing and they all work so well with each other.
It's clear that they're not just looking for individual talents but talents who will work together well.
Well since their an "idol company" they do want them with a modicum of singing talent. All the girls and guys can sing. Some not great but passable. Above all they must be entertaining. Heck even their most extroverted personalities are true introverts.
What's odd is I think they want someone with not alot of outside attachments or interference. Alot of the girls seem to be entertaining but also socially awkward too. Oddly even in other vtuber agencies....I find alot of them have perennial health issues. Like iron mouse with her immunodeficiency disorder, shiina with her heart condition. Botan with her anemia. Suburu cognital heart defect.
@@kelvinw.1384 Quite a number of Holomems have tons of outside attachments: a few are students (Haachama, Towa, Kaela), some are working outside of Hololive with streaming as a side gig (Korone, at one point). As for members with chronic health issues, it's more common than you think. Studies show that between 40-60% of Americans lives with at least 1 chronic condition.
It's not that hard when you have thousands of extremely talented vtubers at your disposal... The problem it's that the viewership it's finite...
@@kelvinw.1384 "not alot of outside attachments or interference".... *looks at Calli*
As someone actively hunting for a job fresh from graduating, Fauna spoke to my soul. I love this Kirin
Thank god she is in hololive
Thank god she is
Thank god she
Thank god
Thank
Title of clip isn't technically wrong but it's giving people the impression that she applied to Hololive many times
Yeah it's pretty click baity
Yeah it's very bad, bad clipper red flag
Fauna has one of the most soothing and endearing voices I have ever heard. Stack that on top of how comedic her deliveries can be, and you got a recipe for a good time. I am glad she made it.
She's right. You never know. The first job I got was as a teacher's assistant at a university shortly after I graduated from university myself.
The way I got the job was.... I literally walked to the university I was interested in, asked where administration office was, went to reception and said *"Hello, I'm [.....] and I'm interested in working here"* . They were like "WTF is this?" but were also amused at how direct I was. Long story short I got the job and later went on to be a professor for 7-8 years.
The first hololiver which i was subscribed to before she ascended to the council, still miss her asmr collabs.
Hold fast in remembrance of our spiritual liege honorable battle brother
Fauna is such a great speaker. Everytime she says something, its always worth listening to cause shes such a well-spoken person.
I'm glad she didn't give up
Fauna: I feel like I was awkward.
Yagoo: And that's what we were looking for.
Imagine you've been out all day with interviews, and none of em went well. You collapse face down on your couch, bummed af. And then she comes over, cuddles you, and says this.
Depression curing levels of kindness
Sometimes rejection can teach you more than actually succeeding. You learn more about what you need to do to get where you want to be.
Big ups to Fauna
I was rejected for 150+ positions, and had almost given up, before I landed my dream job.
You can do it, friend. I believe in you.
congrats, sounds kinda crazy though, I would've probably given up. in my sw engineering career of 25 years only ever had half a dozen job interviews out of about as many applications, got offered the job every time, without formal qualifications even. but just to hang around online all day doesn't require that much money anyway, could've probably managed on unemployment and occasional sidegig
Can confirm! before getting a desk job, i applied to plenty of places before eventually getting one down to which ive been working for nearly 5 years now.
my first couple interviews were bad but i learnt after the last bad one.
it's literally trial and error, there also is no shame in googling and watching interview tips on youtube. they are great to keep you align.
so faufau is right, dont let a rejection get you down. use it as an improvement!
it applies to mostly everything tbh!
Every time I was rejected after an interview, I made sure to contact the interviewer and ask if I could get feedback on my interview. You learn a lot about how you can improve or do better in the next one
Blessed life advice from mother nature
That is what she said
0:35 good advice 🙏
While sort of true, you can only learn from rejection if you get proper feedback and that is often not the case. Either you get none, or the feedback gets confused with 'this part of you is bad' while in reality it is often 'we are not looking for this'.
Thank god they accepted her
HR are chad
Good advice
just keep trying until you get it
crazy that she got rejected tons of times, gets in and is a huge success
Her word is gold for some reasons
I'm happy meet with Fauna
Rejection has nothing to do with your worth by everything to do with your compatibility
I love Fauna
Indeed best practice is getting interviewed, i remember i applied to 4 different jobs before applying to the place i actually wanted just to get the experience, even then i was rejected once and got it at the second time
Her specialty before joining Hololive was ASMR. Given the problems they had with monetization on accounts like Choco's that specialized in ASMR, I can understand why Hololive might have been reluctant regardless of how good a candidate she otherwise was.
Ah!
i still remember kroni's interview at bankaroni
just like in shawshank redemption
In the interview she said "uuuuu" and that was enough.
*_STRONGEST NENECHI VIBES RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!_*
Title is clickbait.
Technically not, she was rejected multiple times before being accepted into hololive. The title implies she was rejected from Hololive but she was actually rejected from other places before being accepted into hololive
What is your strength? What is your weakness?
Be sure to show off how flexible you are and all your skills, remember maybe the next Gen topic is Space Troopers or futuristic and then you're showing off how you act as a fantasy gnome or werewolf, you never know what they could be looking for, so if you're set on one kind of character that you can pull off, keep trying, if not, try to be flexible.
Singing and experience helps a lot too
Where'd you get the vivaldi remix at the end? I love it!
look for V conclusion
Title is a bit misleading as she didn't specifically say that she applied to Hololive many times, just that when she got a "job". She could have meant job searching prior to auditioning for Hololive as well. Doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't Hololive, but we can't say for sure hence why the title of the video is misleading.
What was the outro music if you don't mind me asking?
it's a mix of vivaldi winter, look for V conclusion.
kind of a misleading title there.
It's really weird for me to think of an alternate universe where Fauna for example, got accepted earlier and formed part of Myth instead. Like imagine she got accepted as Ina and her model was mostly the same but slightly different.
Man thats weird
What's the outro song ?
Some remix of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Summer I think.
I found it as V conclusion
Inaccurate clickbait title
Wish I was a girl with cute anime voice.
Misleading title.
Well, you probably are kinda awkward, but seems to be like every hololive member has sort of a quirk to them. But that's part of why we love you guys. Also, yes, interviewing is a skill that someone definitely could improve at.
How to be good at X thing? Do X thing.
Sounds legit.
Man the clip title is so bad, you make it sound like she was talking about Hololive when she is talking about regular jobs. Also it's surprising the amount of people who commented who did not watch the entire clip...
bad click bait title
Rejection should not be a true negative experience. Build yourself up better.
dislike for click baity title
I completely understand what Fauna is saying, because it is undoubtedly true (someone please correct me if I make a mistake anywhere) but I really hate the "interview culture" that is so prevalent across so many fields. I'm not saying that employers should just grab whoever they feel like hiring on nothing but a vibe check, but I feel people should be hired on the merits of their own person, not just their ability to fall in line and say what the interviewer *wants* to hear. Granted, I've lived a pretty comfortable life where I haven't needed to reach out to more than one agency to find a position somewhere, but my personal feelings on the matter are that putting on a persona just to "pass the test" accomplishes nothing but to set both the applicant and the employer up for disappointment when the hyper focused momentary preparedness is replaced by the actual skill a person has in their day-to-day activities.
Ultimately, I may have ended up saying something that didn't come across correctly, and that's totally my fault for trying to form a coherent thought in the minutes before I should be falling asleep, but I hope that its somewhat clear enough what I'm trying to stab at. Regardless, thank you to anyone who actually reads this spew of nonsense, I hope you have a good day/night depending on when you see it
Fauna is exceptional, but I feel like a lot of popular, corporate VTubers could be easily replaced. The high-end models are a bigger attraction than the personalities.
