I like how the ability controls are set up. Left, left+right, right. For quick and easy activation. Only thing is that we are only allowed three powers at a time out of eight. So choosing a good combo is going to be tricky bc all of them are good.
Definitely rolling technomancer, was thinking pyromancer at first but this ticks all my boxes, can be a summoner, support, dots, crowd control, long-range sniping and mid range assault rifles. Perfect class. So happy.
When it comes to class based shooters, this is the first game that has more than just one class that interests me. Even the Devastator seems like it has something for me and I usually don't like being tanky. I'll still likely play Technomancer the most for I like playing a support summoner but it's good to see there's options and plenty of variety even in the individual classes themselves
My first time playing this game after so much time playing Destiny, and the only thing I can say is incredible, the story, gameplay, skills, this game is perfect. I hope that one day they continue to expand the World of OUTRIDERS.

I play an anime game called Genshin Impact, and my main is an ice archer whose charge shot basically works like a rocket launcher doing AOE. When I'm not playing that, I usually play MMOs where I heal. This game is saying I can do both?! Very interested.
Ms Velvet I'm pretty most of us ME's are going to be doodling on this until EA and Bioware get there stuff together and put out newer and quality materials instead of throwing old remastered stuff that got worn out like a weeks old underwear.
The only class that comes close to interesting me as much as Technomancer is Devastator, but Techno is still leagues ahead of it. I love utility support classes, I like this healing mechanic more than any of the other classes, and I like the versatility. I'm so torn between a DoT/HoT setup with Pestilence or a turret herder with Tech Shaman. But since you allow unlimited and easy respecs I'm not locked down into one or the other.
I love everything about this class. I do have one nitpick though. I really hope the sniper rifle ends up having recoil. I cringed every time I saw him shoot with absolutely none at all.
I think that might be a mod. In their expeditions video they said that you can mod your weapons to inflict status effects, reduce recoil, and have faster fire rate.
As someone who normally mains medic and engineer in Team Fortress 2, I think I just found my first character class in Outriders. Second character will be a Devastator.

oh, by the way, since I have no friends playing the game, I tend to solo the Demo, and as the technomancer, I was capable of beating this "big bad" relatively easily, yet that fire Captain, the fire tornado boss with heals, was absolutely BRUTAL. Took me many tries, though I DID not lower the difficulty for fear of losing out on some nice loot.

Looks great! I have 3 questions (that might have already been answered somewhere else): can you save multiple loadouts/skill setups, do you have to complete the campain with all classes to be able to use them maxed out and can you share gears among characters/classes?

So out of curiosity, will outriders have a weapon skin transmog system kinda like dountless? Where you break down a weapon to put its skin on another weapon you like better.
Makes more sense as a class with these powers than The Technomancer from 2016. I get it that lightning is an essential part for making technology run, but techno isn't synonym for lightning.
my favorite part is when the turret in the power combos section didn't poison most of the enemies because they had been chasing the player while it was building
Finally a class for me, I wasn't interested in this game at all, that is, until this class. In a shooter I rather my abilities support my guns, that is ample crowd control so I can hang back and focus on shooting, or summoning more guns and artillery.
The abilities look awesome in this game, But I hope this is not the final version of gunplay especially 1:44 that is maybe the worst sniper rifle gameplay I have ever seen. Also is there any word on character customization ? I really don't want to play my entire game looking like a punk rocker who probably is not allowed near kids, There is different armor sure, But I'm really tired of the best looks vs best stats gameplay that has been an issue in many games. Otherwise this game looks solid, The most difficult choice right now is to choosing between Technomancer or Devastator.

I am enjoying the game but the shaky-cam during cut scenes needs to be looked at. I understand shaky-cam can be used to promote action scenes, but it's shaking when characters are just chatting.

I don't know, from the DEMO the technomancer seems to be getting shafted in some respects. It looks like they'll start to get better late game, but early game the other classes seem to have a leg up on them. 1) The passive healing ability is, IMO, certainly not as good. While the other classes get 20-24% max health on kills, techno just gets 15% of weapon/skill damage, and weapon damage is pretty low. 2) Techno passive healing isn't even unique to them, everyone can get it... techno just does it slightly better. So a trickster can get health on kill and weapons with life leech, but where's the techno's health on kill? 3) Going off 1 and 2, make techno passive healing a bit better or more unique. Make it either 20% to sort of match the others numerically, or give it an additional bonus that takes half of what you get and returns it as health to the whole party. 4) OK, I haven't played Pyro or devastator aside from making them at level 2, but techno seems to generally have longer cooldowns. 5) I really don't like how some techno skills activate, namely cryo turret and scrapnel. Tossing some thing up and down like a grenade in call of duty is kind of dumb, especially when it doesn't even reach your aiming reticle and to throw farther you have to look at the damn clouds. You're manifesting this stuff out of thin air, so just manifest it at your where you're aiming.
If you play with a controler - play devastator If you play with mouse and keyboard and are a good shot - play Technomancer and spec into sniperrifle damage You will thank me later
@@dledman I Play mouse & Keyboard & I SUCK at sniping. Grouping my enemies together so I can nuke their is my crowd control. Since other classes Can slow down or interrupt enemy hordes in close range, they don't do anything to put them into the same area like the devastator. But I can't pick between Devestator or Technomancer. The Trickster lets you teleport across the map without alerting enemies via time manipulation and has a bubble shield which is excellent for giving your team breathing space. All 4 classes are hard to choose for me.
I like the abilities but it feels like most of the abilities are not that long range, turrets and mines have limited throw distance, art gun starts off by firing most of its shots within like 2 meters so you have to be close setting it up etc

i tried a few snipers in the demo they had more recoil that was noticable and not flat like u showed with the timestamp

Damn, this is a better tutorial than League has on PC.
