    I am 25 years old and i wouldn't like to live in a village....
    By the way i dont speak french but can understand. Could i find a job in bussines/data analysis area? Or in order to grown i would need not only french but also german. Or only french would be enough?
    Because my second option is luxemburg what do you think?

      To work in Geneva french definitely helps although it is possible to find a job with English only. The same applies to Zurich, where German definitely helps but is not an absolute must. Regarding living in France, Ill make a video about this soon 😉

    Thank you so much for this video! 🧡 I have a master’s degree in foreign languages and literatures (I speak EN and FR), and now I’m studying Business and Administration by myself (9 months programme). Becoming a Swiss banker has always been a dream, but I don’t have any experience for now. The situation is complicated here where I live. Perhaps I should consider an internship… I feel unmotivated. Is there any chance for people like me in this industry? 🥺

    • @Miko_PS_in_Switzerland

      Hi Thiago. Thanks for your comment! The pace and pressure usually high in finance. But I’d say the hours are more reasonable in Switzerland and there a better life/work balance. There is a number of reasons for that, but one is surely employee protection and social benefits incomparable to the US

      Depends on the bank. NY is the craziest, then London and last Switzerland. Also depe nds on the type of Financial Institution. Kantonalbanks, Retail banks, are more relaxed. Private or Investment banking is busier.

    Right now I am finishing my career(economics) in Spain (We are the country with the highest unemployment rate in Europe hahaha) so I would like to emigrate and work in Switzerland, I speak English fluently, and German I am learning at the moment. I was thinking to improve my German and pass the CFA I and try to get a job in Switzerland, do you think it is possible?

    • @Miko_PS_in_Switzerland
      @Miko_PS_in_Switzerland  3 года назад +1

      Hi Alex thanks for you comment! I understand you are currently studying? Which uni?
      Getting a job here is definitely possible, if you speak German it will further increase your chances in German speaking Switzerland. It’s definitely possible, my friends but also a number of subscribers have done it!
      CFA would be value added, but I think it’s much more important that you show previous experience. Internships, internships, internships as much as you can. Let me know if you have questions here or DM me on insta

      @@Miko_PS_in_Switzerland Thank you very much for your reply! Yes, I am currently studying at the university in my city (not top university, local university), I have no work experience, because the internship I was going to do was canceled by the COVID, I will finish my degree in July or December this year, so I was thinking of improving my German and study the cfa from summer and try to find something (even if it was an internship in Switzerland). The situation in spain is bad, 50% youth unemployment and a general unemployment rate of 18% and I would like to try there, but I don't know if it will be possible, I hope so!
