#16 Frómista - Carrión de los Condes | full étape | Camino Francés

16th étape of the Camino Francés from Frómista to Carrión de los Condes.
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020.

My "artistic work" with the Camino began with analog black and white photography for years, made one of my absolute favorite photos on this étape, eventhough only the road, fields and electricity poles are visible.

My very first Camino was also in September. I liked this time of the year the most (but maybe it`s also because it was the first one). All the best and buen camino☀️
