Wow! Mandel Kramer, William Redfield, and Leon Janney are all in this episode. They're three of the best actors I've heard in radio. William Redfield is one of my favorite actors, ever. This series is very strong and extremely entertaining. Sometimes the endings pull no punches, but it's to the writers' credit that they didn't sugar coat original material. Thank you for this series.
I must admit I've listened to 35+ of this show and I don't think I've heard a bad one!! The authors, script writers and the people who search out the stories from the plethora of books do a fantastic job of bringing to 'life' there words for Mr. A.N.Other You and I in my opinion for all its worth.

If u havnt heard them before u don't no what ur missing and don't worry you've only got 1,200 episodes to choose from
This has got to be the cleanest copy I have ever heard, some of my old tapes had lines that would cut out or drop so this is a trip to hear each word clearly! One of my favourite episodes. I love how they joke around with the canteen and freak out the computer dude guy and he doesn’t seem to wonder WHY they have water if it is so-o-o-o poisonous. Then choking on the oily clay food, yuck! The national anthem is funny too. I wonder whatever happened to Joe when they got away? Feels like the lifeboat had one of those Genuine People Personalities from the HHGTTG series.
Glad you enjoyed it. Since we released this set in 2010, we've been acquiring or purchasing collections from long-time collectors in the field. As good as this version is, it's only 64kps mp3. We've now got an even better-sounding version of it!
