I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of Damage Control after Ms. Marvel. Damage Control are the real villains in the MCU. I don’t know who’s pulling their strings, but it’s someone who has a hateful grudge against enhanced people. And my gut tells me it’s Justin Hammer.
It is interesting that they use Tony’s sonic cannon design that he developed for SHIELD (after he supposedly stopped making weapons for the military) and that Hydra would later use to open the portal to bring Hive to Earth.
I know Rhodey’s suit had one too, but it’s the Stark weapon that keeps getting misused by villains working within supposedly legit organisations.
Feels about right.
It was probably to tease Armor Wars since when they made the show this was still very much a thing. Now it’s kinda in limbo or even cancelled and it just comes off as a plot hole.

@jadonsand5071I think if they do it in a grounded way it could work, maybe Matt shows her how to fight without needing to use her powers and to utilize those skills with her powers. Captain Marvel failed to have a teachable moment about heroism so Matt could fill that role even briefly about that high price.

this is easily one of my favorite shows that marvel has done. it felt like a breath of fresh air in terms of its storytelling, humor, and learning about south asian culture. plus, it gave me a history lesson on the partition. i hope to see these characters again in the future.

Such a fantastic series with great music by Laura Karpman. It was great to have Kamal meet Carol and Monica. I don't understand why The Marvels didn't get the love it deserved.
I genuinely believe it was release order. If The Marvel's comes out before Secret Invasion than it explains one where Fury was and two doesn't clash going from serious tone to comic relief again. Now the flip with Secret Invasion after allows us to feel like the event had an effect and when we see him again in Doomsday it can retain the serious tone. My head cannon will always be that order as it improves both projects well up until the Super Skrull battle. No solving that.
Maybe because it was poorly written like how she struggled so much against a skrull while at the end was able to restart a sun the whole movie happened because of her stupidity and yet did not get brought up as much as it should had.

I’m a huge fan of Kamala, and I was really happy about the series announcement. When they mentioned the changes to her powers, I kept an open mind, even though it made me a little sad. But the retcon about her Inhuman origins… that was too much. I felt so disappointed, I really didn’t want her to become a mutant. Honestly, that was really sad!
I hate the power change the most, but making her a mutant was also annoying.

Making her a mutant wasn’t necessarily a retcon, because the creator of the original Ms. Marvel comics wanted her to be a mutant, but marvel wouldn’t let her because they were so focused on the Inhumans. It’s more of a correctional rewrite.
I really wish Ms. Marvel was one of the main big 3 of the multiverse saga by appearing more often, I really hope she appears in Avengers: Doomsday

i saw hit monkey for the first time last july and there’s one episode when a certain character used a very old armor and she sees kinda “what was watching a person who wore the armor a long time ago”.
i immediately thought about this scene. idk i wish marvel had explained that part or those cosmic villains that kamala saw, idk. i deduce that it was an alien race fighting some old kree but it would be so cool to see more of those scenes. mainly since kamala fought with some krees now.
i even rewatched this episode again after watch that episode of hit monkey (both are peak marvel series btw)
