This track really hits deep, I read an article about what EDEN's been thinking about for this album and it seems a lot of the songs are going to be sad, are going to be about getting over memories he's made and letting them go. This is but the beginning.
I don't find the usual EDEN songs very saddening, though this really resonated sad feelings with me. ITYTTMOM was not sad really, the 3 remake songs shouldn't be counted and only 1 of the 4 original releases from ITYTTMOM is sad. His older stuff (way back) isn't that sad either. As I said it's mostly personal but this song really resonated that "sad" feelings with me.

We've been broken up for a year today, our relationship got chaotic towards the end because of alcohol and ended it on very bad terms. I didn't notice someone sitting on the other side of the bell until I sat down in front of it. It was my ex-lover. Awkwardly, we made eye contact but faintly smiled at each other for a moment, we didn't say anything to each other. Afterwards, we left our separate ways, feeling some type of closure. This song just hit me in some way.

I've been through a similar situation. My mom doesn't love me and sometimes she've told me about how she wanted to had an abortion. It hurts, it really does; but at the same time I feel lucky because she didn't want me but I have the best grandparents you can imagine and they took me as soon as I was born and raised me as their own. Today I have a a terrible relationship with my mom and we avoid each other, but without her lack of love for me (because I have to sisters and she really loves them) I couldn't have become what I am today and my grandfather wouldn't have had the opportunity to raise the babygirl he longed his entire life. I felt the need to comment just to say that you deserve lots of love, you look like a great person and someone to be proud of. If she doesn't notice, she is losing what I think is her most valuable gift. It'll be great if we could get in touch and chat n.n have an awesome day

I cried while listening to this. My dad passed away almost exactly one year ago, though I haven't been able to let go. He was very dear to me, and he was the one in my family who I could rely on the most and always supported me. Even though I believe this song is about lovers/friends, I really felt a connection to him while listening. So thank you, for this bittersweet but wonderful moment you gave me with him again.

I think this is my favorite EDEN song of all time. The raw emotions and musical creativity in this one are just phenomenal. The high pitched chorus hits hard and out of nowhere, and the ending says exactly what it should say
One way to interpret it, also i think his depression is just a younger version of himself which he has confirmed is the concept of the song but equating his younger self to depression itself makes perfect sense actually. Since he afaik was happy in his life when he released this album

I feel like I can almost never fully comprehend the whole story of Edens songs but at the same time I know exactly what he means and how he feels about it and what emotions i connect with the story. It's like there are a few different iterations of a narrative in the construct of his songs and he purposely leaves parts of the lyrics open for your own interpretation while being precise enough in other parts to guide our minds in a very similar direction. (especially in terms of what emotions we feel) Maybe some lines even have multiple meanings for himself. Maybe some refer to very personal and specific experiences that only he could know of. A true lyrical genius. He's absolutely incredible.

My girlfriend and I try not to talk about it often. I go to college in less than a year, probably a $400 plane ticket away, while she has a year +. She and I also see different paths in life, paths that seem like there may be no place they can converge. I hear this song and all I think about is what would happen to me if we weren't able to stay together. I think of not being able to face her again, the person who has showed me how to love and who has given me a happiness no other has come close to. I don't know what to do, and I try not to think about it, but then I click on this song and it fucks me up all over again and I'm left clueless, helpless to what may happen.I don't want us to crash.

Damn... this is some music that can only be made so heartfelt by personal experience. The lyrics touch so many people because as specific and unique as it is there’s unique people with slightly different settings but inevitably the feelings of not wanting to force something after one person fucked up but at the same time having feelings for that person that can’t be put into words. You both know how you felt about each other and the bond felt too right, but years go by after your fall out and before you know it both of you are stuck wondering if people with good intentions but bad timing ever get a second chance. Great song, that’s what I got from it.

Today I have a a terrible relationship with my mom and we avoid each other, but without her lack of love for me (because I have to sisters and she really loves them) I couldn't have become what I am today and my grandfather wouldn't have had the opportunity to raise the babygirl he longed his entire life. He was very dear to me, and he was the one in my family who I could rely on the most and always supported me. I think this is my favorite EDEN song of all time. The raw emotions and musical creativity in this one are just phenomenal. The high pitched chorus hits hard and out of nowhere, and the ending says exactly what it should say

I feel like I can almost never fully comprehend the whole story of Edens songs but at the same time I know exactly what he means and how he feels about it and what emotions i connect with the story. It's like there are a few different iterations of a narrative in the construct of his songs and he purposely leaves parts of the lyrics open for your own interpretation while being precise enough in other parts to guide our minds in a very similar direction. (especially in terms of what emotions we feel)
Maybe some lines even have multiple meanings for himself. Maybe some refer to very personal and specific experiences that only he could know of.

Damn... this is some music that can only be made so heartfelt by personal experience. The lyrics touch so many people because as specific and unique as it is there’s unique people with slightly different settings but inevitably the feelings of not wanting to force something after one person fucked up but at the same time having feelings for that person that can’t be put into words. You both know how you felt about each other and the bond felt too right, but years go by after your fall out and before you know it both of you are stuck wondering if people with good intentions but bad timing ever get a second chance. Great song, that’s what I got from it.
