I’ve had motorcycles and scooters of various types brands. Nothing beats an old Italian scooter. Nothing gets me more excited to ride. Here in America it’s about Harley pirates and crotch rockers. I prefer the smell of two stroke on10” or 8” wheels. I don’t need to compensate for ANYTHING
You have to ride vespas to get it ........the editing is world class there’s a professional in this group I’m sure .....respects from a English man in Australia....

When you tour on a big powerful motorcycle, it's about the machine ...but when you tour on a motor scooter it's more about the trip.
@@OKuusava are you living under a rock? Scourge the internet and you'll find a lot of long drive tales on a vespa or a Bajaj chetak which are basically the same. Maintenance is basically zero. Mileage is high. In many countries people sell them off as scrap so people don't even steal it.

Oh brother. When you tour you’re touring. Big bike small bike. Still having a good time
Vespa engine are very reliable, very seldom breakdown. The only downside is that you have to add in 2 stroke oil into the gas tank whenever you fill in petrol so you will need to have a can of 2 stroke oil with you. Mind you Vespa can carry a sprare wheel.
@@OKuusava Not true at all. Vespas are incredibly reliable and last for dozens of years without many problems

Can I ask if the road is steep? We are here with our motorhome and have a 50cc scooter to get about. We'd love to do this road, but with the two of us on it, the bike struggles to get up steep hills and we just get slower and slower. On the flat we bomb along OK. We'd need to travel the road in both directions, so a long downhill might be nice on the way, but we have to then make our way up on the return trip. What do you think?

Can anyone recommend a similar Vespa trips in the Le Marche region of Italy? I am going to the region in October of 2018 and I am interested in renting a Vespa to do a one day trip somewhere in the area but don't know it the region well enough to know where to go and where to rent a Vespa. Any suggestions?
