Ceri, you’ve done it again. Another masterpiece! I’ll admit I was holding my breath as you added more and more watercolor. But, as usual, you knew what you were doing and the result was perfect and magnificent. ❤
Some great tips and tricks in there - neat card, with interesting effects from those less-used techniques.
This is my favourite postcard! It is a work of art, and the lady is stunning!
Definitely one of my favourites.
You never cease to impress me. This wins so far. It is exquisite.
I loved, when you said, you were spending space to store, this remark registered, and I will always remember this. Thank you! (Greensboro, NC, USA)

What alot of structure in this one, just amazing
❤❤❤ YAY
You give me the courage to be more adventurous in my art. Thank you, Ceri. And please make the gelypostcardplay an annual event. I know it is a lot of work, but you have friends in this artistic journey we are all on. We can help. Many of us would be delighted to help. Change up the rules or requirements next year and see how it goes. This event has been a game changer for all of us, I think. I now feel like I have a group to back me up, daily if I want. It’s truly exhilarating. I could go on but I won’t. Just, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Kay, thank you, I’ve already had chats with some of those who have supported the postcard challenge and their comments and positive input have been duly noted, if it runs next year there will be tweaks and some new rules. But exciting options.
Ceri, beautiful postcard, love it.
WOW! I just saw a masterpiece made!
This is gorgeous. I love it!😊❤️
Fantastic! I really enjoyed watching you work through this. Thanks for keeping it all in there.
Love it! ❤
Love the rust vibe - very cool.
I love this post card ❤ the placement of the 28 makes it look like a post mark. Wonderful job 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
That fine marker work really put the perfect finishing touch on this piece. Really fun to see the process!
Thank you very much
I love the look of the colors in the background are beautiful. I really need to get some texture paste, it looks so useful. All of the layers create the total sum of the card. Stunning.
Thanks so much 😊 Kim
Love this!
I love this, reminds me of your covered box video (the ocean looking one). I’m definitely going to have a go on a postcard! X
❤
hey Ceri, love how you share with us a bit of your thoughtprocess and wonderful you can soon retire. Hope you have enough to do after only what you enjoy. I am eager to see what the next year brings for you and this channel
Retirement means more creative time to me and I can’t wait.
Really like this one! I’m playing with texture paste tomorrow.
I love it!
Wow! Lady Rust is a gorgeous postcard! Well done Ceri! ❤
Thanks so much! 😊 Rhonda
Very sutil thoughtful beautiful postcard Ceri❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊 Myriam
Stunning work again. She turned out beautifully. Don’t forget to order PAINT. Lol. By the end of this challenge, you will have had enough reminders I’m sure. ❤
Challenge accepted
This is absolutely beautiful, and an amazing process to watch. I would have been terrified to start adding so much watercolor and wetness to a card that was already so wonderful without it, but it worked incredibly well. Gorgeous!
This one was a lot of work but is stunning!
One of my favorites you have made this month. The word rust may seem odd to some, but I like it because in Dutch rust (pronounced a bit like the u sound in push) means peace. That seems to fit nicely with the feel of this postcard.
Wow great to know, thank you
Another great tutorial, and tips! I have a yucky green postcard I want to 'tone' down a bit. Something you've used here might just do that!😊
Wonderful
Enjoyed this video!
Love this one! Marty Rust
Although the end result is beautiful, it's al lot of different aspects...I would gave stopped earlier but then again I am a beginner in everything!!
Beautiful card! I love all your techniques! Tfs
Great advice - can't conceal, reveal it.
Wow 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Please list where we can find that tissue or rice paper with the faces. Thank you
Linda, I use rice paper from a company called Stamperia, I love the quality of their rice paper and their imagery is beautiful. They have a catalogue of hundreds of images. I’ll admit they’re not the cheapest on the market but for me, in this instance, quality outrules the expense.
I normally purchase A4 sheets and a sheet usually does more than one project as I tend to use only sections for the sheets.
(A/4 Rice Paper for Decoupage Scrapbooking Sheet Sea World frames) this was the search I did on eBay to find the sheet of images that contained the woman’s head and face. Here is a link via the eBay app but I’m not sure if the link will work if you’re not in the UK, however you should now have enough information to find them. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223935599857?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=kZhxncziTM2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=jhStHOafRMS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
