Yamaha TDM 900 - How to remove rear turn indicators

Thank you for this. You've made it easier for me to see how to remove them. I'm swapping out the indicators for the running LEDs. 👍👍

Why would you want to remove them...?

To replace them with LED/more slick looking ones if someone wants/repair them if they get broken/etc are some of the reasons I can think of.
In my case it was mandatory in order to install a panniers rack
