@@JasonJoyrides so, with Dragy I had 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.62 seconds, 100-200 km/h (roughly 62-120 mph) in 12.39 seconds and 1/4 in 12.73 seconds on 1.60 maps. Will come back with an update once I redo them on the beta maps. Also, the temperature might play a big factor. When I did those temperatures, there were around 25 degrees Celsius outside, now it's colder.
@JasonJoyrides I would really like to see if there is a real difference between the beta and the 1.60 map. Then we will know if our but dyno is correct 😂
I have just updated to v2.0 coming from v1.6 stg1+. Im happy the hickups i had while cruising on the highway are now gonne. I just want to validate now if my valvetronic fault when weather is bellow 5C will also go away (bmw has done a fix for that in the past but seems not to be included in mhd). Thank you for your video as i didnt know about this update release.
@@rodrigomeca I’m not sure about the valvetronic code fault you’re having. I wonder if a software update is required in order to integrate the fix that BMW had for it. I’m not knowledgeable on this fault though unfortunately.
@@JasonJoyrides Jaosn, it is very easy to find info about it. There is a bmw technical service bulleetin for this: SI B12 04 15 DMW INTERNAL AND VALVETRONIC FAULTS SET AT COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURES
Messed around with stage 1 on the 2.xx map coming from stage 1+ on 1.60 and it feels really comparable. If anything the new map is easier to drive and has more low end. Still hitting similar numbers for boost. I also noticed that the F/G MHD app isn’t picking up the code for my exhaust flap being disconnected. Not that it really matters just something I noticed. Appreciate the videos man!
Sweeeeeet. That's weird about the exhaust flap code. I know that with MHD+ we will get the option to configure the exhaust flap in any mode so you may be able to hook it back up eventually and get that code to go away completely
I have a manual, the pull on low throttle is really bad, it's so sluggish. You have to floor it to feel the power. I endup having to by a throttle controller got a sprint booster which made the car feel so so so much better! I'm hoping this new map makes it better so I don't need the throttle controller!
@@antaeusr I was actually waiting on my hardware at the time because I took the door off hoping the stuff I had from another project would work but they were barely too short so I just left the door off for a couple days. Got the 270 degree hinges on now though. They’re sweet! I love this printer so far. Gonna use it in an upcoming video
I threw on the beta maps and after a drive and only one quick pull, car started jittering all over the place in low rpms, i took it off as soon as it started. Hopefully they come through with a smooth transition to the new stuff
It seems to working well for most people but a couple guys have had issues. Hate that for you man! My only guess is that the new maps are less conservative so it is blatantly obvious if you have hardware not operating at 100% or gas that is lower quality than advertised. Just guesses and speculation though. Hopefully it works for you in the future!
Thanks, bro! I've been on v1.60 for a while after a few underwhelming 1.84 flashes and I wouldn't have known about this if it wasn't for the video. Is it a long write or a quick 30 sec. flash? I dont have a trickle charger right now 😢.
@@JasonJoyrides I flashed MHD Stage 2 v2.00 (F3x PWG) and it is fast! I cannot really compare to a older Stage 2 map, but flashing went OK. Will do a datalog soon.

@@Levrrrrr do you mean when did I flash my DCT? Or when do you flash in relation to MHD? xHP is completely separate from MHD. You can flash either one as much as you want and they will not affect one another. I flashed xHP on my car several months ago after I did a full service. I’ve flashed MHD maps probably 20 times since then in all of my different testing and the trans tune never changes.
@ Could you please tell me: I bought an MHD Super License for the E series and installed Stage 2+. To do the same as in this video, do I also need to purchase a license for the F and G series, or is it enough just to download the app to my phone?
@@Levrrrrr no extra purchase. The new maps are included with your original license. You just download the F+G app and log into your same account just like you did when you first got the N55e app. It will recognize your license. The xHP tune is awesome. The DCT acts much more like an M car. Upshifts are extremely snappy. Sometimes I'll even get a loud crack out the back on upshifts. Downshifts are much quicker too. It's like the car barks instead of revs. It's also nice to adjust the shiftpoints and launch control although I don't really use launch control for fear of breaking something.

Hi Jason, will it be safe for us to have and use the BETA maps until the official one comes out? Or this BETA maps is only for us to try a couple of days or weeks?
I have been running the BETA maps for several weeks now. As far as I know, these maps are safe to use. I doubt MHD would have released them to the public if they were not. This project has been going on for several months. Back in June, they were originally only sharing new maps with those that volunteered to be BETA testers. After having good results, they released them to the public. My guess is they are still called the BETA maps because they will probably make a couple tweaks and then release the official maps along with MHD+. Just my theory. If you are concerned, best thing you can do is to take logs and make sure that everything is looking good and safe. Make sure your boost is not going wildly above or below the target, make sure you are not having any timing corrections, and make sure you are not running lean. In my case, I am confident with my logs and the way that the car feels to drive so I am not returning to the old maps.
@@Sleepy335i oh that’s one thing I forgot to mention in the video! The burbles on these maps are different. The OEM style has the volume of the 1.6 soft burbles but are less gun shot like. I’m on OEM style .9sec with the 2.XX map.

@ weird yeah I wouldn’t suggest flashing it if it says PWG then… might want to reach out to MHD about that. Sounds like they might be doing something behind the scenes that is messing with stuff
I recently got my e82 N55 and looking to go stage 2 MHD. Is it a good idea to go straight to these new Beta tunes? Or is it better to wait until they come out of beta testing.?
@@ishannage248 for my car, I’m confident in the quality of these tunes and them being safe to run. With you not ever running MHD before though I can understand your concern. You can go with the 1.6 version if you want to swap to the new maps later, or just go with the beta version straight away and try a different version if there’s issues. I don’t think it would blow your engine up regardless. Just do a log and make sure you’re not running lean, boost isn’t far from the target, and aren’t getting timing corrections.
@@JasonJoyridesonly thing i can see causing detonation is the pulling harder off the line, i feel people will not be used to this run the car a little harder cold and there goes a piston, just be careful for over boosting while is cold do not step on that hoe cold
@@sl0wf.30 absolutely. Never beat on these cars before they warm up. I think that should be a given, tuned or not. Hopefully people are reading this and realize the severity of it is much greater on this platform than a Toyota Corolla.

@@SylosLobbies anti lag is part of MHD+ which they are still testing on the e series N55 before they release it. I’ll make an update video as soon as we have it
@@ValentinoSnyder yes and yes. Tried E30 this past weekend because I was visiting an area that has E85. Truthfully, I didn’t notice much of a difference. I’ll have to do more testing with it in the future when I have better access to E85.
Hi mate you think is good if i try the beta maps on my e92 n55 pwg xdrive with a stg3 because i have a pureturbos stg2 upgrade and i dont know if is good because ago i have stg2+ v1.60 but give a overboost and missfire because the turbo is more big than stock now i'm a custom map and is strong the car and all is right but i thinking maybe try this new maps what you think?
@@luisrenasrs8217 custom map should be better than an OTS map. I would imagine you’d have the same issues on the BETA maps as well. There is a hybrid turbo option so idk if it could work a little better than the original 1.6 map you were running but I doubt an OTS map would beat your custom tune.
@@JasonJoyrides humm i understand but maybe i try only for see what change for the 1.60 because the custom map is very strong and a soft custom map because i use only 18/19psi on gas 98ron and i'm dyno 423hp and 630nm torke with xhp stg3 on my AT6 gearbox and stock hpfp and injectors stock but now this winter i go upgraded my hpfp with helix overdrive kit and a new custom map for i try pass the 500hp😅

You need some 270 hinges on that k1 max also. Im assuming thats why there isnt a door.

@ agreed, leave the oil change to bmw, everything else diy the n55 rods are so oil dependent 1 little dry spot your buying new metal
