- Windlass Crossbow is a bit underrated. Now is the Perfect time to bring it into the New Lobby Changes. Crazy dmg for a normal lobby build. Slayer Fighter still feels fun as heck.

After getting used to running white gear sets again after getting used to running proper gearsets i realised my usual ranger with spear and longbow is quite bad due to how slow it is
Cause of this i was experimenting with crossbows with crossbow master and turns out its pretty much just a better longbow when capped at white gear
Reload speed is around the same as the delay between shots on a longbow and you dont need to refil a quiver
Combine it with a arming sword Handcrossbow that also benefits from crossbow mastery you can deal alot of damage at range with a normal or windless and can still poke without risk at close range with the hand crossbow
Im used to running spear but with low dex its just too slow to be worth and arming sword is just better

Kinda goofy looking... but try out Hand Crossbow + War Hammer for the extra armor penetration.
Dam, true. 20% is nice... Maybe a way to deal with all the taunt and holy protection or whatever it is clerics.

@@ayyylma0 It's decent, but I still think Sword Mastery is better. +2 Weapon Damage and +5% Action Speed is like half the effect of Slayer and Dual Wielder.
Shortsword + Warhammer is ***really*** good, though. The Shortsword already has really good DPS, and giving it +20% Armour Pen from the War Hammer just raises it to Weak Point levels.
