This feels nostalgic as fuck for me. Haven't listened to this song in ages
Revisiting this song after 7 years... and it is still as good as I remember. Nowadays I mostly listen to black metal, so I really didn't expect to like this band as much as I used to, but damn, this whole album is great.
Thank you so much mate. We took influence from genres like death, prog, and a little bit of black metal for our songs.

this was a true acquired taste for me
found you guys around 2016, by 2018 you ranked among my top bands,
this song, at first, i didnt like much, but the one line 'My greatest fear... to be left on the motherfucking sidelines' has stuck with me ever since i first heard it. every few months since 2016 its nagged at me enough to pull up the song for a listen here or there,
and now i just love the entire song.
you guys are literally so fucking good that you singlehandedly changed my tastes in music genres.
That lyric, this song, and the whole first album is super raw and unscripted. I had no filter when writing and singing the lyrics to it and it came straight from the heart. The same goes with the instrumentals. Appreciate all the love over the years, you are an OG. Hope we can do a follow up to this album someday :-)

it feels so...thematic, like the whole album is telling a story - reminds me very much of Nomy in that sense, who you may have heard of, one man scandanavian rock band whose albums are stories of serial killers and such.
especially with the distinctive art you use.

Think this was the first WATE song i ever heard, came here from a Nightcore. I saw the artist name and was like "...The hell is this emo band about?" by the end of it ".....Damn that was actually pretty epic." And i don't regret giving it a listen, even now listen back on it, it's still epic

This song hits me home in my heart omg my biggest fears are thunderstorms I hate thunder and lightning so much I’m scared of thunder at night the second verse describes my darkest scary fears of thunderstorms and earthquakes like sound shaking omg it’s horrifying you know my bedroom had two windows 🪟 🪟 across my right side of the bedroom omg last year my two windows almost broke when the bad thunder hits almost closer to my room window omg it was scary I hate sleeping alone when there’s thunderstorms noises around me you know I cried a lot it was scary 😦 your music does helps me with my calm my night fears away thanks to your music for saving my life from the thunder and lightning thanks guys ur awesome band that embraces and calms me down protecting me from the thunderstorms love you guys 😘
