I was literally screaming at the screen at @32:23 when at the workbench. look carefully at the top, there are 2 options, CRAFT and REPAIR. this is how you repair your gear and also you can crafted the bandages at the workbench too. secondly some big trees have lots of mushroom platforms on them, if you climb up them which is like a parkour course, when you reach the top you can claim the tree and use it to build a permanent base which can also be moved between other claimed trees and even into another players world.
You wanna build your base at the top of one of the 10 special trees in the game…biggest trees once you go up a root you will find a dwarf statue..speak to it to bring the lift down. Go up and claim it. Big flat protected area and most important…as you explore the map, the base you build up there can be moved between these 10 trees…its can change location. You can also now craft healing bandages on workbench cuz you unlocked it when you found the material.

You can build bridge at where level, so you bring buddies across with you. Get a love bug for extra carrying (pack mule). Each bug has different things to kill easier. Stone armor you need to fight( bring and change out). Love to see multi player with your crew. Don't forget to use antennas to find things out. Loving this game
There is a tree you can claim, it has large flat building area, once you climb up the mushrooms and claim it there is an elevator you can use. Just go back towards the starting area youll see it.
You can repair at workbench just hover on the crafting menu between crafting and repair and also simple bandage can be make in workbench. Flint and bark is near shore/beach area but not in beginner area you need to travel abit far beginner area. After getting access on refined wood and crittin from sawyer beetle you can make crude axe in workbench.
Z1, repair ui is on the normal workbench. Also, make basic bandages in there. Bark definitely can't be harvested until you get flint tools. (Far to the south on map) Loving this game so far. Been on my wish list forever.
please go to the top of one of the giant trees with the mushroom platforms! you can claim the top to build on, it's super safe, and you can do a cool thing that makes gathering from different areas WAAY easier
I am Z1's target audience. I spend the entire episode thinking about how there is a repair tab and bandages and then decide to buy the game to prove I can do it better😂. Steam should have affiliate codes lol
You should claim a tree base. It makes it possible to transport your entire base to other tree bases across map so you dont have to build multiple bases. And alot of the crafting stuff your looking for is in the first workbench, like the bandages and the next axe upgrade.

i'm not really sure what sets this apart from Grounded to be honest, it just looks like someone looked at Grounded and decided to make the same game.
If you find one of the trees where you can make your base, much safer than on the floor
