A 'bad' version of an aimbot without those features is still aimbot. Check at 7:35 how the aimbot auto-aims at the dead St.Pz. II. Disgusting
The Duck is the best tank because it teaches you quickly that you are going to go through a ton of terrible tanks before you get one you like...I love my ELC :D

Another reason to go to the Russian heavy line. There are no terrible tanks in that entire line. The worst you get are average (balanced) tanks. The rest are all good to very good. While the french lights... ouch... horrible, horrible, okay, horrible horrible horrible, good.
My M3 Lee has a 60% winrate by the time I finished grinding through it... and a few high calibers and top guns. I just avoided Right-hand corners and hilltops like they were the fucking plague.
That's the first one that made me thinking of what I do. To really start playing.

The tank i wanted first when playing the game was the T-50-2, i almost had the credits for it, i needed only 5k more and the next morning when i started the game up it was gone, that was my saddest moment ever in WOT, ever since then i didnt have a good enough computer anymore to play the game cause my gaming pc died, and i have never touched the game again :(

i kinda believe that KV-1 indeed a really great tank and its also good for tier to tier matchups and you get a real sense of playing a Heavy tank and its fun to play this tank :D

KV-1 was my first heavy tank back in 2013 when I started. Still has a special place in my heart. I almost never use it anymore, it's more a museum piece in my garage.

In getting Pool's or R-W's it doesn't matter the tier of tanks you shoot at, only your own. So you can be a tier 5 shooting only tier 4s and still get one.
The best, only moral really, advice to any player thinking of getting started in this game is don't do it. The game is too long in the tooth and it's been a long time since the developer stopped caring about making the game fun and instead, focusing extracting as much cash out of the player base as possible before the game dies.

That whole line up to kv1 is good. T46 is great with the 75. T28 is amazing with it's crazy power to weight ratio and 57mm. Kv1 is great with any of the top guns.

Not really, you can just spam XP personal reserves to get up the tiers, they help a lot.
Type It Faster what about prammo? I see all these games and most of them spam mostly prammo, is this necessary or can I use regular ammo
Well, I recommend a mix of normal ammo and premium ammo, ie. 50 AP and 12 [Insert Premium Ammo type here], though whatever works with you best is what you may use in the future.
I run my KV-1 with the 57mm as a murderous heavy buzzsaw of doom. Melts people at any tier (and can load powerful APCR if needed)

I do 85 mm with gun rammer (occasionally spam gold) and it seriously rains hell on all tiers

I use the T-1 Heavy (over 2,000 battles in it). The only KV I have to worry about is the one with the 57mm. A full health head to head is a toss up

I agree on this being a very friendly tank. I've unlocked the KV1S, KV2 and T150 but still use my KV1 with the 85mm gun. Absolute beast in most random matches.

Definitely agree. It was my first tier 5 and it definitely got me into the game. 10k battles now and I've never sold that tank. Don't care if it's just collecting dust, it is special to me.

well he's firing HE lol who really tries to aim for weak spots with a derp gun anyway, you either end up doing less damage cuz you hit a viewport or hit the tracks, just fire center mass lol
The bit at 7:35 isn't aimbot. He is holding RMB to keep the gun pointing in one direction so the game shows the aiming reticle pointing at the background where the gun is pointing. It just happens that, due to the movement of the tank, the line of sight of the gun passes onto the dead St.Pz.II's hitbox, so the aiming reticle snaps to the dead SPG because that's where the round would hit.
So what if he shot all with auto aim; a) derp b) just starting the game, he'll figure it out.

i love that tank, still in my garage with 2 marks on the gun, but now i haven't played a lot because i am grinding a lot of nations, but when my credit account is almost empty (like it was when i bought the E100) this baby got me some good old laughs and fun at tier V

I hadnt played WoT seriously since like 2013, I came back recently and grinded out towards the O-I to get back into things. It's really fun as long as you are top tier or facing tier 7s max, because its main selling point (armour) obviously doesnt do well against tier 8s. Also it's an artillery magnet which can get super frustrating but in a game with little arty the tank is such a beast with that Derp.
I also still had the T-29 which I grinded back in 2012 which is (fortunately) still a beast. Having a lot of fun although gold rounds are way more commonly used now so armour means a lot less.

The kv-1 is like the t29, no skill required.
I agree with this it was one of my first tanks i spent the most time in can learn or sorts of skills.Its still one of my most played tanks and has good stats at over 500 battles I play mostly 7-10, but I still have a blast in the KV1.

2. low tier gameplay does not teach you how to play WoT. From the KV-1 at angling actually becomes meaningful. That is when you can start learning tactics that you need in the rest of your WoT career.

Recommend WoT? No. I recommend people stay away, at least as long as greed continues to come before making the game the best it can be. At the end of the day this is still a "pay to win" game, and that sucks. And it's ridiculous to mix tiers as well, but hey, it's a good excuse to encourage gold use isn't it.

the kv1 was the first heavy I got in game , it did learn me to sidescrape etc.
Also got over a 1000 games with it, almost at my 4th skill now.
The fun about this tank is that all 3 guns are good , the derp is fun to play and learns to deal with a longer reload time.
The 85 mm is the best gun but the smaller 57mm is not bad too , it reloads super fast and has good pen too ,the 189 apcr is quite high but no high dmg.
Its a good allround tank , even tier 6 tanks does bounce on it when you angle it properly.
Ive had some killer games in it.
Awesome tank as long as you use it the right way or like this replay shows when you're top tier it is a bit too armoured...but just a littlw bit.

Not an aim bot. It's auto aim plus. Basically vanilla auto aim but you can lock on without actually seeing the target. Still illegal though
AAA (Advanced Auto Aim) confirmed, used it some time ago as well before it was removed from modpack, so I can tell for sure. For this you don't have to see the outlines which makes it illegal. What an idiot to upload stuff like this *facepalm* :D
Noticed that too. But you can see the recticle search on weakspots on the tanks. Eitherway it's pretty stupid to play with that. Let alone upload it to a replay site.
One of my favorite tanks to play with is definitely th Kv-1 with the 85 mm gun. The success of this tank gave me over 11 kills in over 2 to 3 games straight.

This tank is really a beast, I loved playing in it. Once a tier 4 tank destroyer was in my rear and didn't penetrated my armor once despite 6 shots. But when I took a shot at him, booom one shot dead. That's an example how powerful this thing is

If even a 48% wr player can pull off a 1v5.... while losing less than 200hp the whole game....
Also the armour is complete bullshit, look at 4:44 tracked at an exposed position, no damage recieved at all despite getting shot from all angles...
Historically the KV-1 was not really the best tank. Yes it had good armour for its era, its firepower was very mediocore (same at the T-34), ergonomics were a disaster, the drivers had to change gears with a hand-sledge.

I've always thought the same, and started both my siblings down the KV 1's line. As it is I've gotten well over 1K games in my KV1 (out of around 7.5K games), and its the first tank I got a 3 skill crew in (followed by the pre-buff Panzer III/IV)
Edit: Don't forget, the KV-1 has 50 and 30mm weak spots on the rear of the tank.
My highest frag game (13) was in the KV-1 on Widepark. I need to buy it back one of these days. Fond memories.

I recommend the 57mm if you want super high dpm I have it on my tank and have a reload of 1.95 seconds and 2980 dpm.

Yeah, I agree. KV-1 has a slow pace that is easier for starters to to catch up. This tanks works the best with 85mm, and works pretty good with 76mm for starters who has not get in used to how to aim yet. The armor is reliable, front is the same with side and back, not too much worry when being flanked. Easy tank to play. Comparing to other tier 5 tanks, only some medium tanks may compete with the performance like KV-1, like T-34, M4, Pz IV. I think T-34 maybe the 2nd best fit for starters.
Kv is the tank that kept me hooked at the beginning of starting my wot career
I remember playing this tank when I was a bot just driving into the middle of every map, getting tracked and sometimes getting more than 3k blocked dmg lol
First tank I was going for was T-34 because we had one(T 34/85) in barracks that was monument that you could fill up with fuel and start. Even then I preferred T-34 over KV-1 and I never regretted going for it first. I feel sorry for all that went into game wanting Tiger...
you have to talk about the T1 Heavy Tank. I think is more difficult to use than other t5 tanks, but can be also stronger
Kv 1 is god OP , I am grinding for the Is 4 and the is7 those tanks are so good and its good to see replays from my country
I think the BDRG1B is a really good starter tank because it got very good dpm and penetration. And it got good matchmaking as well. Sure it doesn’t have the best armor but that’s a good way to learn how to play safe and smart.
That! And the following french heavies will teach a new player how to position properly and be patient and the top tiers how to maintain situational awareness because emptying the clip at the wrong time usually means death.
The KV and the russian heavies after it can leave a newb with some bad habits, like going full Rambo style in tanks that are not really meant for close brawler action.
I absolutely hated the M3 Lee, but surprisingly loved the Grant. Maybe because of being a beginner in the Lee, and a more experienced players in the Grant.
The strv 42 has degrees of gun dpr. Plus the first tank I always wanted was the legendary centurion
It's important to have some fun when you first start so whilst the kv1 is solid, I had more fun in the Matilda. I has solid armour a super gun and it taught me early on that big derp guns could be overcome by use of cover with a fast firing high pen accurate gun. It's a very slow tank but has some forgiving armour, which means that you can make some mistakes and still have fun.

While I started way back before Girls und Panzer aired, I ended up making getting all their tanks my goal. This meant the Pz.IV D and H, StuG III G, I-Go, Pz. 38t, Hetzer, Chi-Nu, M3 Lee and Tiger (P). The M3 Lee is definitely something I wanted to just get over with because I wasn't that good, but once you've treated it as a shoulder-peek TD, the DPM on its top gun is absurd.
As far as Derp guns go, I feel like I enjoy playing them more by proxy of being able to do damage on almost every tank. I will admit that outside of the usual lower plate/cupola/machinegun ball/driver's hatch weakpoints, I'm less familiar with tank-per-tank weakpoints. Maybe it's time for me to mount the 85mm on my KV-1 at least.

for poking enemies and providing cover fire, which is preferred T34 or Kv1
I would highly suggest the M3 Stewart, tier 3 American light tank. It'd fast, has a punchy gun with decent rate of fire, good view range, and the armor is just good enough when angled to bounce the assholes using the auto cannons. I love chasing down auto cannon vehicles and laughing as they think they'll melt me but don't and ricochet as I pump round after round into them. It's a really good tank imo. One of my go tos when I'm having a frustrating time.
Actually laughed out loud in the beginning with the story of M3 Lee, M4 and Tiger... That's pretty much exactly what I did. Going for the M4 and Tiger. And yeah, just rushing in with the M3 Lee and hoping to get some experience so I could get the M4.
I learned game with T67. Have 1.2k battles, people call me stat padder but i had 600-800 wn8 then, just learning camo and spotting and some weakspots.
