Short answer is no. That's why you shouldn't go for a very bright projector in a very dark room and if you are not going above 100". You can try to put the lamp mode from bright to normal or to eco and try but other than that no.

I’ve tried sooo many different android tv boxes, etc and nothing comes close when it comes to the power inside Nvidia’s processing chip. Even tho it’s an old chip it’s still far superior than any android tv. I just bought the XGimi MoGo 2 Pro due to its great specs and having Android tv 11 and it’s sooooo laggy. I’m assuming this XGimi Ultra Horizon might have the same shitty chip inside or laggy android tv.

I don't know but I am really starting to doubt these RUclipsrs that make these "Reviews" I personally ordered the XGIMI Horizon Ultra 4K and should be receiving the projector today. I really hope I like it but from what I've been reading on the AV Forums, is that the contrast ratio is pretty bad/low. Because of that I also ordered and already received the Hisense C1 4K Laser projector and I must say, it is EXCEPTIONAL as far as the image quality. I have not seen a life style projector this good. It also supports all formats, SDR, HDR10, HDR10+ & DOLBY VISION with DOLBY ATMOS. The only thing that got me bummed about it, is that it doesn't come with Android TV. Instead it comes with their own Vidda OS. I know I can install a Google chrome cast. However, I love how some of these high end 4K projects like Formovie, XGimi, etc have built in Android TV. I will be comparing both projectors myself and will decide if I will keep the XGIMI HORIZON Ultra 4K or the Hisense C1. As of right now, the Hisense C1 has me in AWE every time I watch a movie on it. Especially since it supports all formats which is really unheard of from any life style projector. There is also a great comparison RUclips video from @thehookup comparing the XGimi against some other well known/High end 4K laser projectors. Because of his video I purchased the Hisense C1. I've also read an article from a well known calibrator that also confirmed the XGIMI HORIZON Ultra 4K having bad and low contrast ratio. Here is the article in case anybody wants to take a look and read for themselves. www.mondoprojos.fr/2023/09/01/test-xgimi-horizon-ultra/
Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom for the English version. It is such an interesting Article. I am honestly starting to believe that all these RUclipsrs that "Reviewed" the XGIMI HORIZON Ultra 4K don't know what they're talking about. XGimi has been getting so much backlash that they are releasing an update tomorrow, Saturday 9/23/23 so they can fix the contrast ratio. However, from what I've read. The contrast ratio is still low 😢
