Best thing is, Eren is strong because of his titan power Mikasa and Levi has Ackermann blood that make them strong Our character has nothing special, but he's still the strongest
@The Saint Whoa take it easy, despite the MC in Xenoverse being strong, he is not stronger than Goku. He can hardly mantain SS Blue, and when he fought against MU Goku he managed to keep up to him briefly and only because of the energy Fu gave him. The protagonist power of Goku is just too strong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Our Character: *Has more kills than Levi, Mikasa, and the Entire Levi squad combined (in one mission). Defeats the Armoured, Collosal, and Beast Titan alone multiple times. And Basically saves everyone inside the Walls 20 times* NPC's: wOW yoUrE aLMosT aS gOod as dAz. iF yOu keEp tRainIng, yOu mIgHT gET oN eReNs LEveL
LITERALLY- I GOT SO PRESSED SO MANY TIMES WHEN THE THE OTHER SCOUTS KEPT CONGRATULATING THE CHARACTERS I WAS ON A MISSION WITH AS IF THEY CARRIED THE WHOLE TEAM- like bitch I got like 60 eliminations and all they did was get caught by a titan through the whole mission 😀
There are a few things I have learned... -Sasha's instinct is almost never wrong -No body, no confirmation of death -Our Friend had more kills than everyone combined, so -post credit scene
And Reiner, Bertoldt and Zeke are about to retreat back to wall Maria away from Sena and find the MC alive and nearly passed out from being tired then decide to bring him with them and have Pieck bring him back to Marly to be a brainwashed Honorary Marlian warrior with a 10th customizable hybrid titan, making a spin off for a return in for AOT 3 final season game

If they ever make the next game, I sure hope they'll let you create your own character again. I've really enjoyed the experience of being part of the story that way.
I have this little head-cannon, That a year later after everyone thinks MC is dead(Main Character/The person you play as). They're found at a side of the wall area that people rarely ever go to because of the overpopulation of titans. (This is how I imagine it going down) (Erwin sends the Levi squad along with some extra people to check out why there's been a decrease of titan attacks near that area) (When they get there, there are huge piles of dead steaming titans strewn across the area, everyone's on edge because they don't know if this is another titan shifter or something else) (They find towers for different purposes, a few for mining, others for supplying, others are cannon towers both automated and manual) (Sasha, Connie, and Jean are sent to investigate one of the supply towers) (It's extremely dark, Sasha is the first one to go in, she enters with a lit torch) (The door suddenly slams behind her, Sasha is immediately freaked out) (Sasha hears the sound of ODM gear being used to jump around the inside of the tower) (She hears a resounding thud behind her) (Sasha turns around slowly to see a hooded figure, wearing the wings of freedom cloak to hid their face) (The unknown person stares at Sasha for a few moments before lifting their hood) (The hooded figure turns out to be MC (but with huge scars across their body and face)) (Sasha is at first extremely surprised, but then screams with happiness, because for the last year she has been holding out hope that MC had been alive) (Sasha's scream of delight caused Connie and Jean to open the door and turn on the lights(they found a rope that when pulled ignited a flame, lighting up the inside of the tower)) (Connie and Jean find MC awkwardly standing with a extremely happy Sasha hugging tightly around their torso) (Both Connie and Jean are extremely surprised) (Connie is then also filled with a sense of overwhelming happiness, he rushes to quickly and tightly hug MC) (Minutes after Jean and MC discuss what should happen next) (Jean walks out of the supply tower with MC following behind with both Sasha and Connie still hugging tightly onto MC and seem to have no plans of letting go anytime soon) (Jean calls his horse, MC calls their horse which is now much larger and has quite of few scars on each side of it) (Jean then says to Sasha and Connie "You should call your horses unless you want to be left behind") (Sasha and Connie both call their horses while clinging tightly to MC) (View changes to MC, Jean, Sasha, and Connie all riding their horses when they're suddenly confronted by a singular titan) (MC quickly uses their ODM gear to quickly kill the titan using a technic similar to captain Levi's technique but more effective(it's basically them as a spin blade quickly going in loops around a titans neck so that if the first strike doesn't kill it, the second or third will)) (MC's horse quickly runs and catches MC while MC is able to land on the horse without hurting them self or the horse) (Sasha and Connie are extremely impressed by this while Jean try's to play it of as it not being as cool as Sasha and Connie think it is) (The four of them ride into the make shift camp the Survey Corp is temporarily staying at(MC has their hood up again)) (Everyone's main reactions are "Who's the person in the hood?" "How does that person have a survey corp cape/hood? I thought only people in the survey corp could have that.") (Erwin then walks out of one of the makeshift tents with Hanji trailing behind him, trying to convince him to allow her to try and get more titans since the ones MC caught had all accidentally been killed) (Jean rides up to Erwin saying "Sir? I have someone who might be the cause of all the recent disappearances of the titans") (Erwin then follows Jean (while ignoring Hanji) up to the hooded MC) (Erwin then says "I don't think we have met, but what are you doing outside of the walls and exactly who are you?") (MC takes of hood without saying a word, Hanji gasps with excitement about seeing her titan capturing buddy is still alive and probably has intel about the Titans now) (Erwin is at a lost for words, Hanji is talking a mile a minute so no one can really understand what she's saying, Levi, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin have just came out of their own tents to see what the noise was about (Mikasa only came because Eren was curious)) (Levi looks slight stunned but keeps a nonchalant look on his face, Eren and Armin are ecstatic at how MC is still alive, while Mikasa looks at MC with a blank stare of curiosity) (MC is then seated at a table with all the remaining 104th Cadets and the main leaders of the Survey Corp, several hours go by as MC talks about surviving with so many titans around, how they learned to deal with them, how they got their supply's, and how they got their massive scars (no one was really comfortable enough to say anything till Hanji blurted it out)) (There's a sudden sounding for Titans, MC immediately gets up and runs out of the makeshift tent to see 2 3-Meter Titans, 4 6-Meter Titans, and 4 10-Meter Titans on the horizon coming for the camp) (MC is immediately using their ODM gear to quickly distract the Titans from the unprepared Survey Corp members) (Most Survey Corp members join the battle after a few minutes only to find 1 3-Meter titan, 2 6-Meter Titans, and 2 10-Meter Titans still on the battle field) (The battle was essentially over in minutes, it would have gone by quicker if MC was by themselves but they didn't mind people trying to help them kill the Titans) That's all I can conjure up at the moment but feel free to continue it, also if some of the characters didn't sound like them selfs sorry about that!
Small idea burst! Whenever MC and the Survey Corps get back into town, rumors are started calling MC “Ghost”,”Ghostly Titan Killer”, &”Killer from the West(/what ever side of the walls they came from)”
Why do I have the feeling that when you were making this you were hoping that the developers of the game would read this or someone else would read this and that they were contacts of the developers and they told them and so now your hoping they read this and make the next game completely based on what you just typed. Also congrats because I fell in love with your version of the next game.
Sasha said MC is alive. Her instinct is never wrong. I'm just hoping for AoT3 that you are able to import your character from AoT2 to make a return there. And that they play 'Calling out your name' when it happens. I swear, the chills I get from that will be incredible.
YoungDaniel Sun Nah, he fought to distract some titans but ultimately he didn't face any serious threats. He was almost guaranteed to come back but Zeke ducked that all up.
All of the scout regiment have the big balls as our character because they’re the one who’s brave enough to fight off titans outside the walls. The other regiments (mainly MPs) don’t have as big balls as they are. Beside even jean said that he can’t believe that he want to be MPs because he saw those MPs shit their pants when they know that there were a titan in their area off the wall. Because he knows that he is willing to risk fighting a titan then those who were presumably got into the top 10 and pick MPs
I’m not convinced he’s dead until I see the body. Rule one of anime: if it’s implied someone’s dead, don’t believe it until you see the body or the death scene.

I don't understand how this game isn't extremely popular literally this game was such a master piece it may not have followed the story exactly since your character had to be added into everything but its amazing how they were able to do that and it made the game ten times better being able to experience everything through out the story as your own character kinda made me feel like I was actually in the game sorta
I wish we had more backstory on the nameless hero. The things we do know about him is. 1 He's from Shiganshina. 2 His parents died. 3 Parents taught him how to make a good cup of tea. 4 That story he told Mikasa. About his past. In Mikasa Log Event. And that it.
Well that's the thing with most games with character creation. Either we take what backstory the games give us or we make up our own. Which can obviously make our character seem very bland. Giving your character an interesting backstory is kinda hard when it's up to the player how their character acts.
That actually the case The nameless soldier has to fight Titan with no supplies and the Blade and gas the still used probably about to shut down so defeating 8-10 Titan with no supplies Is pretty badass

Well the players pissed the titan that killed the players family is on the ground helpless and he has the chance to get revenge but he realizes that armin is right so he needs to hold in his anger
Let's be real here, if we had gotten to control our character in that last heroic sacrfice, we would have wiped the floor clean of titans and walked home.
The only anime game with created character that actually had a nice story in terms of integrating a Cac. A.O.T.3 will be a continuation of your character in S3/S4. Maybe they'll let you turn into a titan?
I hope with season 4 coming out soon that in the new game they have all the characters being cornered by a titan then you hear SCREAMING and we just fly in in an epic scene where we kill the titan in the most badass why to introduce our character again
It'd probably be a similar scenario with Levi and Zeke. Levi is willing to spare him for the time being if it means the survival of those around him, but he promises to kill him anyway.

The ending it was brutal for me especially when you see Levi holding his tea and his hand is shaking. I had the 10 hearts so it reminded me of his friends. And also you see Hanji aurging with them about probably going and saving the main character. Ugh the Feels 😢😢😢
i felt extra sad for levi since he has lost his entire team and us, the character hes grown close to and his student just dissapeared, we even said "i wont die on you sir" bUt gUESS WHAT HE THINKS WE DID 😔😔😔, hes lost so many loved ones! and when the cutscenese appeared at the very end crushed my heart into tiny peices
*A sword in the middle of nowhere with a green coat hitched on it with my mc walking away from the bodies of dead titans towards it. With resolution, he grabbed the coat and majestically put on the coat as it slowly flutters in the wind* MC: Now... How the hell am I gonna get back to the Trost District?
Best thing is most cutscenes are in FP- First Person) which we rarely get in any other games which makes this by far the most known game with FP cutscenes.

Probably because Eren was sleeping on her lap. She doesn't even try to talk you out of it because deep down she knows it's for Eren when you look at Eren. She is honoring a sacrifice for Eren by watching it through while still being a pillow for Eren. Obviously she appreciates you dying for Eren.
Jeremy Moore Yeah I'm an asshole for pointing out at the end of the day letting Eren sleep on her lap was more important than even trying to stop the character. Jeez I joke about her sitting there while the character goes off to die and you cry like a little girl over it. Well fuck you, Mr serious.
I think the MC was ready to die when Armin stops them from going for Renier. Depending on your dialogue choices, avenging your parents’s death (specifically done by Renier) and being forced to make necessary sacrifices is what drove them to make that decision. It’s really a good idea to max out the friendships before you complete the game. It’ll make it all the more emotionally resonating when you don’t just sacrifice yourself for the good of humanity, but for the people you’ve grown to love. FYI I hope they’re still alive!

I like to think that the player survived through this scenario "After their sacrifice, the scouts believed that their friend passed away in the heat of battle. Little did they know that rather than killing him, Zeke secretly kidnapped them and brought them to Marley to help him with his plans to free the Eldians, albeit leaving the other half of his plans from them."
I doubt you die 1. In the game opening trailer it shows a mystery Titan and then it’s shows it in first point of view 2. Sasha is always right with her instincts I hope he don’t die
Thundercrap95 If you follow the manga then your first reason is not what you think; I won’t say why because I’ll be spitting out spoilers for those who haven’t caught up with the manga.
Damn dude. This game managed to get me hyped just like the manga and anime did. Especially with our character, he gives him the players notebook and sacrifices himself.
Our character: can be the best soldier, has fought the armored, colossal, beast, jaw and female titan and has killed 1000 normal titans (or at least in my play through). Also our character: dies to a couple normal titans.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when the hero dies tragically in the end but I don't believe you are dead. Not until I clearly see the dead body, I'm not convinced lol. For now, I'm assuming that you got picked up by Zeke, Reiner, and Bertholdt and probably became a special 10th titan shifter
When I finished the game literally yesterday, I was surprised how upset these fictional characters got when I died. Especially Levi an Hangi. Her yelling at Erwin and Levi drinking tea alone. You know that thing that people say? “I look at you and fall in love all over again.” Well for me it’s, “I watch this and I cry all over again.” :D
Too bad that there's no news about a new Attack on Titan game. This story is actually interesting, and if they did make another game. Our character will definitely come back
scene when Mikasa question CaC's doing after putting its Journal near Eren really hurt if you actually bother to maxed Mikasa's friendship. Did anyone bother to max friendships everyone, or at least, all 104th cadets (except those who die first) like me? from lore perspective, the betrayal of CaC knowing Reiner is the Armored Titan is a great story. *waiting patiently for Attack on Titan 2 fanfic featuring CaC but more fleshed out*
I just wish our CaC was voiced in cutscenes. Would be heart wrenching yet perfect if after Mikasa said "Wait, what are you doing?", our character just replies "Goodbye."
If it wasn't a custom character, then yeah. Until games start implementing technology where you can overlay an entire dialogue with any voice, it's just going to be an unnecessary cost to have multiple voiceovers for your character
Here’s my head canon... This final mission never happened. Protag was around during the whole Reiss incident, but was with Hange the whole time. They still assisted In rescuing Eren and Historia, and slicing the falling pieces of the Reiss titan later. Before the battle for Shiganshina, they overhear Eren, Armin, and Mikasa talking about the ocean. Captivated by the thought, they join the three in their discussion and now also wishes to see it. During the battle, instead of Hange, it was the Protag who launched a Thunder Spear to open the Armored titan’s mouth. After Mikasa’s attack landed, Reiner is trying to crawl away from wherever he landed, only to stop after hearing a sudden clang noise. He flips his body to look behind him and he finds the Protag, detaching their remaining Thunder Spear and equipping blades. They place their foot on Reiner so he can’t escape, they prepare to take his head but begins to hesitate. Their conflicted by their duty as a soldier and their desire for revenge. This conflict causes them to be unaware of the Quadrupedal titan’s appearance and costs them dearly. The titan smacks the Protag into a building, then takes Reiner and flees. The Protag is alive but unconscious. Days later, they wake up in a military hospital with Sasha in the bed next to theirs and Jean and Conny watching over the two. All three are relieved that their friend has finally regained consciousness, Sasha and Conny being especially loud. Hange walks in and the Protag is surprised to see Hange with an eyepatch. They asked what happened, and Hange tells them about the total death toll of the operation and is saddened not only by the numbers but the fact that Moblet and Erwin were among the dead. The news about the mission’s success and Armin’s survival was enough to raise their spirits. When they attempt to get up, they immediately fall from the bed. They’re told that when the others found them, their leg was badly injured. The doctors saved the leg, but the Protag can’t fight anymore. However, they are promoted to Section Commander and is put in charge of training scout recruits. One year later, the day the scouts would go beyond Wall Maria, before the battalion depart from Shiganshina’s gate, a carriage appears. The Protag steps out, cane in hand and a scout cape over their officer’s coat. They demanded to be part of this operation. Armin tries to persuade them not to go and they reply: “I need to see this, Armin. With my own two eyes. I need to see the wonder you spoke of one year ago.” No one objected as long as they remained a non-combatant. Jean and Conny helped the Protag onto Sasha’s horse and the scouts finally departed. When they finally reached the ocean, the Protag found it to be just as incredible as Armin described. They sat at the edge of the beach, feeling the ocean water splash against their bare feet. The watched as everyone enjoyed themselves, but when they saw Eren pointing towards the horizon, they knew. If Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie were indeed from a land beyond the walls, then the battle has only just begun.
Even though it's true that our character is most likely dead, they're likely gonna have our character appear again at a later date if there's ever a third game. What they might do is what Xenoverse 2 did, where we can import our character data from game to game. They'll reveal themselves after hiding and roaming Paradis for a long while. Then we'll save the day like badasses.
It's possible if they make a third game they will make us play like ten minutes of what mc experienced after aot 2 ended and it's the hardest thing in the game since surviving outside the walls when ur odm gear is damaged
I can imagine our character ragged up with long hair appearing on the battlefield before the rumbling just standing on the wall looking like a badass saying “It was a bother trying to walk all the way back to the walls.”
Knight Correction: Everyone one is using really long stanley knives that keep breaking off in segments, and you're wielding blue flaming demonic katanas of death
I honestly love this game since our character personally had a motive and a goal. It was so cool for me, someone who loves games where I make a character but hate that my character just does errands for the other characters, to see my character make friendships with the other characters and change the story in the little ways they can (like their death affecting, those close to them)
0:23 I like to think our main character just straight up is zoinked out of their mind constantly. They have no idea what’s happening, no idea of the stakes. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall but they somehow manage to slaughter hundreds of titans so they’re brought along for that reason alone. They just see Connie’s smooth head and are just like haha bald head go slap.
I think that was something else entirely. When mc gets whacked to the ground you can see the wires on the sword are actually broken, so he can't fight or escape much.

I have this little head-cannon,
That a year later after everyone thinks MC is dead(Main Character/The person you play as). They're found at a side of the wall area that people rarely ever go to because of the overpopulation of titans. (This is how I imagine it going down)
(Erwin sends the Levi squad along with some extra people to check out why there's been a decrease of titan attacks near that area)
(When they get there, there are huge piles of dead steaming titans strewn across the area, everyone's on edge because they don't know if this is another titan shifter or something else)
(They find towers for different purposes, a few for mining, others for supplying, others are cannon towers both automated and manual)
(Sasha, Connie, and Jean are sent to investigate one of the supply towers)
(It's extremely dark, Sasha is the first one to go in, she enters with a lit torch)
(The door suddenly slams behind her, Sasha is immediately freaked out)
(Sasha hears the sound of ODM gear being used to jump around the inside of the tower)
(She hears a resounding thud behind her)
(Sasha turns around slowly to see a hooded figure, wearing the wings of freedom cloak to hid their face)
(The unknown person stares at Sasha for a few moments before lifting their hood)
(The hooded figure turns out to be MC (but with huge scars across their body and face))
(Sasha is at first extremely surprised, but then screams with happiness, because for the last year she has been holding out hope that MC had been alive)
(Sasha's scream of delight caused Connie and Jean to open the door and turn on the lights(they found a rope that when pulled ignited a flame, lighting up the inside of the tower))
(Connie and Jean find MC awkwardly standing with a extremely happy Sasha hugging tightly around their torso)
(Both Connie and Jean are extremely surprised)
(Connie is then also filled with a sense of overwhelming happiness, he rushes to quickly and tightly hug MC)
(Minutes after Jean and MC discuss what should happen next)
(Jean walks out of the supply tower with MC following behind with both Sasha and Connie still hugging tightly onto MC and seem to have no plans of letting go anytime soon)
(Jean calls his horse, MC calls their horse which is now much larger and has quite of few scars on each side of it)
(Jean then says to Sasha and Connie "You should call your horses unless you want to be left behind")
(Sasha and Connie both call their horses while clinging tightly to MC)
(View changes to MC, Jean, Sasha, and Connie all riding their horses when they're suddenly confronted by a singular titan)
(MC quickly uses their ODM gear to quickly kill the titan using a technic similar to captain Levi's technique but more effective(it's basically them as a spin blade quickly going in loops around a titans neck so that if the first strike doesn't kill it, the second or third will))
(MC's horse quickly runs and catches MC while MC is able to land on the horse without hurting them self or the horse)
(Sasha and Connie are extremely impressed by this while Jean try's to play it of as it not being as cool as Sasha and Connie think it is)
(The four of them ride into the make shift camp the Survey Corp is temporarily staying at(MC has their hood up again))
(Everyone's main reactions are "Who's the person in the hood?" "How does that person have a survey corp cape/hood? I thought only people in the survey corp could have that.")
(Erwin then walks out of one of the makeshift tents with Hanji trailing behind him, trying to convince him to allow her to try and get more titans since the ones MC caught had all accidentally been killed)
(Jean rides up to Erwin saying "Sir? I have someone who might be the cause of all the recent disappearances of the titans")
(Erwin then follows Jean (while ignoring Hanji) up to the hooded MC)
(Erwin then says "I don't think we have met, but what are you doing outside of the walls and exactly who are you?")
(MC takes of hood without saying a word, Hanji gasps with excitement about seeing her titan capturing buddy is still alive and probably has intel about the Titans now)
(Erwin is at a lost for words, Hanji is talking a mile a minute so no one can really understand what she's saying, Levi, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin have just came out of their own tents to see what the noise was about (Mikasa only came because Eren was curious))
(Levi looks slight stunned but keeps a nonchalant look on his face, Eren and Armin are ecstatic at how MC is still alive, while Mikasa looks at MC with a blank stare of curiosity)
(MC is then seated at a table with all the remaining 104th Cadets and the main leaders of the Survey Corp, several hours go by as MC talks about surviving with so many titans around, how they learned to deal with them, how they got their supply's, and how they got their massive scars (no one was really comfortable enough to say anything till Hanji blurted it out))
(There's a sudden sounding for Titans, MC immediately gets up and runs out of the makeshift tent to see 2 3-Meter Titans, 4 6-Meter Titans, and 4 10-Meter Titans on the horizon coming for the camp)
(MC is immediately using their ODM gear to quickly distract the Titans from the unprepared Survey Corp members)
(Most Survey Corp members join the battle after a few minutes only to find 1 3-Meter titan, 2 6-Meter Titans, and 2 10-Meter Titans still on the battle field)
(The battle was essentially over in minutes, it would have gone by quicker if MC was by themselves but they didn't mind people trying to help them kill the Titans)
That's all I can conjure up at the moment but feel free to continue it, also if some of the characters didn't sound like them selfs sorry about that!

YoungDaniel Sun Nah, he fought to distract some titans but ultimately he didn't face any serious threats. He was almost guaranteed to come back but Zeke ducked that all up.
I would say those scouts who died distracting Annie were just as brave
All of the scout regiment have the big balls as our character because they’re the one who’s brave enough to fight off titans outside the walls. The other regiments (mainly MPs) don’t have as big balls as they are. Beside even jean said that he can’t believe that he want to be MPs because he saw those MPs shit their pants when they know that there were a titan in their area off the wall. Because he knows that he is willing to risk fighting a titan then those who were presumably got into the top 10 and pick MPs

I don't understand how this game isn't extremely popular literally this game was such a master piece it may not have followed the story exactly since your character had to be added into everything but its amazing how they were able to do that and it made the game ten times better being able to experience everything through out the story as your own character kinda made me feel like I was actually in the game sorta

Well that's the thing with most games with character creation. Either we take what backstory the games give us or we make up our own. Which can obviously make our character seem very bland. Giving your character an interesting backstory is kinda hard when it's up to the player how their character acts.

So this is a 'what if' scenario where Reiner and Bertholdt came back for Annie. Aw, they almost had her, too. That's honestly kinda sad.
I think the MC was ready to die when Armin stops them from going for Renier. Depending on your dialogue choices, avenging your parents’s death (specifically done by Renier) and being forced to make necessary sacrifices is what drove them to make that decision. It’s really a good idea to max out the friendships before you complete the game. It’ll make it all the more emotionally resonating when you don’t just sacrifice yourself for the good of humanity, but for the people you’ve grown to love.

When I finished the game literally yesterday, I was surprised how upset these fictional characters got when I died. Especially Levi an Hangi. Her yelling at Erwin and Levi drinking tea alone. You know that thing that people say? “I look at you and fall in love all over again.” Well for me it’s, “I watch this and I cry all over again.” :D

I just wish our CaC was voiced in cutscenes. Would be heart wrenching yet perfect if after Mikasa said "Wait, what are you doing?", our character just replies "Goodbye."
If it wasn't a custom character, then yeah. Until games start implementing technology where you can overlay an entire dialogue with any voice, it's just going to be an unnecessary cost to have multiple voiceovers for your character

Here’s my head canon...
This final mission never happened. Protag was around during the whole Reiss incident, but was with Hange the whole time. They still assisted In rescuing Eren and Historia, and slicing the falling pieces of the Reiss titan later. Before the battle for Shiganshina, they overhear Eren, Armin, and Mikasa talking about the ocean. Captivated by the thought, they join the three in their discussion and now also wishes to see it. During the battle, instead of Hange, it was the Protag who launched a Thunder Spear to open the Armored titan’s mouth. After Mikasa’s attack landed, Reiner is trying to crawl away from wherever he landed, only to stop after hearing a sudden clang noise. He flips his body to look behind him and he finds the Protag, detaching their remaining Thunder Spear and equipping blades. They place their foot on Reiner so he can’t escape, they prepare to take his head but begins to hesitate. Their conflicted by their duty as a soldier and their desire for revenge. This conflict causes them to be unaware of the Quadrupedal titan’s appearance and costs them dearly. The titan smacks the Protag into a building, then takes Reiner and flees. The Protag is alive but unconscious.
Days later, they wake up in a military hospital with Sasha in the bed next to theirs and Jean and Conny watching over the two. All three are relieved that their friend has finally regained consciousness, Sasha and Conny being especially loud. Hange walks in and the Protag is surprised to see Hange with an eyepatch. They asked what happened, and Hange tells them about the total death toll of the operation and is saddened not only by the numbers but the fact that Moblet and Erwin were among the dead. The news about the mission’s success and Armin’s survival was enough to raise their spirits. When they attempt to get up, they immediately fall from the bed. They’re told that when the others found them, their leg was badly injured. The doctors saved the leg, but the Protag can’t fight anymore. However, they are promoted to Section Commander and is put in charge of training scout recruits.
One year later, the day the scouts would go beyond Wall Maria, before the battalion depart from Shiganshina’s gate, a carriage appears. The Protag steps out, cane in hand and a scout cape over their officer’s coat. They demanded to be part of this operation. Armin tries to persuade them not to go and they reply: “I need to see this, Armin. With my own two eyes. I need to see the wonder you spoke of one year ago.” No one objected as long as they remained a non-combatant. Jean and Conny helped the Protag onto Sasha’s horse and the scouts finally departed. When they finally reached the ocean, the Protag found it to be just as incredible as Armin described. They sat at the edge of the beach, feeling the ocean water splash against their bare feet. The watched as everyone enjoyed themselves, but when they saw Eren pointing towards the horizon, they knew. If Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie were indeed from a land beyond the walls, then the battle has only just begun.

I must say I like this head canon, and will add it into my AOT Ourman Stories.
Even though it's true that our character is most likely dead, they're likely gonna have our character appear again at a later date if there's ever a third game. What they might do is what Xenoverse 2 did, where we can import our character data from game to game. They'll reveal themselves after hiding and roaming Paradis for a long while. Then we'll save the day like badasses.

It's possible if they make a third game they will make us play like ten minutes of what mc experienced after aot 2 ended and it's the hardest thing in the game since surviving outside the walls when ur odm gear is damaged

I honestly love this game since our character personally had a motive and a goal. It was so cool for me, someone who loves games where I make a character but hate that my character just does errands for the other characters, to see my character make friendships with the other characters and change the story in the little ways they can (like their death affecting, those close to them)
They should have done like a halo reach ending, keep killing Titans until your character dies

0:23 I like to think our main character just straight up is zoinked out of their mind constantly. They have no idea what’s happening, no idea of the stakes. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall but they somehow manage to slaughter hundreds of titans so they’re brought along for that reason alone. They just see Connie’s smooth head and are just like haha bald head go slap.

I think that was something else entirely. When mc gets whacked to the ground you can see the wires on the sword are actually broken, so he can't fight or escape much.
