Black White I've wanted to give the 8th spot to the Nexus 4 for starting the cheap-but-good smartphones trend, but, it didn't really start revolution, it just sparked a trend. Same with any other smartphones these days, it's just a trend. There aren't any phone that could replicate the revolution that the 1st iPhone had to warrant to even had an 8th spot on the list.
#8 Should have been the very first Galaxy Note... Samsung was the only company who thought we needed a bigger phone. iPhone 6+ wouldn't exist if not for Samsung's balls
Yeah also it started the trend of going bigger-before then, the focus had always been smaller-and if I’m not mistaking, their success was quickly followed by the iPhones first increase in size.
+/Chooêt\ I have an iPhone 6 and I agree with you, it shouldn't be on the list by any purpose. I'd have chosen the the Samsung Galaxy S (the first) or the Nexus One.
+/Chooêt\ Did you not listen to the video? The video was about revolutionary phones (The tile saying they were the "Best" was a bit misleading) but he clearly said it wasn't very revolutionary. He clearly only put it on the list because it was a marker of where we are today, and because its one of the most popular phones (Again nowhere did he say it was the "best phone" of today.
The phone I really miss was my Kyocera QCP3035. Extremely compact, incredibly reliable, worked in cities and forests - because it had a retractable antenna that closed flush with the top when not in the sticks. The sound quality was great because it could be switched between digital (CDMA) and Analog (analog sounded like FM radio - because it was!) (Analog was also handy in congested areas because the digital system would be overcrowded and few people wanted or knew how to go analog to get around it.) I happily bought cheap replacement batteries for it and resoldered the charging jack twice before the carrier ended support for it after eight years!
Kyle Frost Yeap true but instead of adding a phone which isn't a game changer at all, he should have added a Note which pioneered the large phablet sized phone lineup. The title did say 8 top phones of all time and the 8th phone in the lineup is the iPhone 6 plus. The titled should be renamed to 7 top phones of all time since he didn't include the iPhone 6 Plus variant don't you think so ?
I remember my cousin having a Motorola razar from Open Mobile when they came out. Did you know that when you open the camera app and close the phone the smaller display becomes your selfie cam? That was a really cool feature

Speed: Noticeably faster than the iPhone 7 plus for the majority of people. The iPhone is noticeably faster at opening the majority of AAA games. Design: Best. No competition. Fastest autofocus with only one phone that nearly equals it (the Google Pixel (XL) whereas popular phones as the iPhone 7 (plus) are so slow at auto-focus in comparison that it feels like comparing an 2016 camera against an 2010. It has the fastest automatic shutter speed in combination with top-class OIS so say farewell (mostly) to shaken pictures at night while you are on the run (this camera nails stills, you can only challenge it when you are moving at night). Microphone: Arguably the best. It depends on the scenario. Do you favor real-life experience? Then this is your choice. Do you favor studio-quality with emphasize on your voice? Either manually tune the gain-levels or use a proper mic for professional recordings. Price: It's cheap dawg! Last year, I had a VERY HARD TIME recommending the Galaxy S6 (edge). This year, the S7 Edge is all I recommend. I remember the 3310 so well, everyone would buy the aftermarket shells, they even had ones that would light up all different colours when you got a call. When it came out it was considered really small. Shit I'm getting old lol
One thing I'll always remember concerning the Motorola Razr: I walked with my daddy trough the city when me brother called my dad on his Razr. My dad activated the Loud-Speakers to make sure I can understand my brother as well. After the call he clapped the phone together in order to end the call but it didn't end. Clapping the phone together while having activated the loud-speakers didn't end the call. So the call remained. John De Leon it didnt change the smart phone because it was the first smartphone, Google had an idea of creating a smart phone but apple came out of nowhere and released the iPhone. Now ever since Steve died Apple is Just a wallet empteing non user friendly business
Awesome 54 Apple has not changed at all, it’s just that the things they always aimed for (thin devices, wireless future, minimalism) are now becoming possible. Apple were making non-consumer friendly choices when jobs was around, like removing the disc drive from MacBooks and soldering down components to the motherboards.
My first mobile phone was nokia N72. My mom bought me that phone when I was 18. I won't ever forget that emotion when mom give me that phone to me that day. That phone became the most treasured prize possession in my life. Today I own a Samsung Galaxy note S9 but it did not give me the same emotion as that nokia phone. Mothers always know how to love their children with style. Love you mom.
screen size its not really a revolution, it's only a bigger screen lol Apple brought the first phone ever with a digital keyboard first ever with multi-touch unfortunately that could be only done by steve jobs, which is now dead and iPhone it's not revolutionizing anymore
I still have the Nokia 6800a that opens up to a full keyboard and the screen would flip sideways so you could type and be able to read what you were typing. First phone that had the screen tilt when you turned it sideways when flipping it open to access the full lite up keyboard
BIASED! Galaxy note 1 breaking the 5" barrier set brought the name phablet and also the era of large display as the main stay. I agree with you up until you brought-up the iPhone 6.
Why? He said that the 6 wasn’t revolutionary. Since 2007 there hasn’t been any groundbreaking new advancements to phones. They just come on varying shapes and sizes but ultimately do the same thing. As cool as the Galaxy S8 is, it’s still only just a prettier version of the same old same old. Until they forage into something like hologram tech, all smartphones are recycling ideas.
The Razr was great. It had great build quality, was stylish and the OS was simple yet fun to play with. Apple was probably the closest to match all those attributes since phones like the Razr went obsolete.
LG G6 for the bezel-less HTC One M8 for the dual camera HTC One M7 and Phone 5 for the stylish design (antenna bands) Samsung S6 Edge for that edge display Moto Z and iPhone 7 for that headphone jack removal.
The first Galaxy Note should be included. That phone started the trend of combining phone and tablet (phablets). Apple, steve jobs himself did not even expect that it will be a norm to the point that he even called it 'unwieldly beast' and 'too big'. Now, all flagship phones has 5+inch screens.
chen kaneki but, you don't see everyone rocking a phone as big as a Note series. Some people still prefer sub 5" phones. Other phones on the list simply just makes other phones not on the list died.
M. Arbah Binamin i do. I rarely see someone still using small phones and if they do they are using older apple products like the 5s and 4s. Most people i see has 5+inch screen phones. Most people nowadays prefer big phones. The market today is all about big phones. Even tim cook knows that 😏. Most big phones that i see are not even flagship phones like phones from oppo, huwawei, blu. Android is 87% of the market and we all know most android phones are big. If i have to choose between the 4.7 iphone and 5.5 iphone plus, I'll choose the plus model.
chen kaneki my point was that it didn't really revolutionize the industry. Big screens phones are not revolutionary, it's just a realization of what consumers actually wants.
@Knowledge Enthusiast: I totally agree! I once saw someone hurling a NOKIA 3310 against a concrete wall. That thing exploded upon impact into several pieces flying in all directions. Once reassembled, it ran fine as if nothing had happened to it. Nokia made a damn good job on fitting the delicate electronics into a rubber shell casing back in those days. Drop a today's smartphone from two feet above ground - BAM ! Screen's ruined and unresponsive by any means.
yeah true on this freaking f***** didn't mention s*** about Samsung it's like if Apple made the phablets really the Note 2 was the biggest one at that time
Galaxy Note. Without this, there would have never been an iPhone Plus model. Galaxy S6 Edge. This changed the design of phones permanently, ridiculing all other phone designs and making other phones look pathetic. Apple knows about it and added extra 2.5D glass to the iPhone 7 to make it look more fancy as a cheap solution (they are holding back due to next year being the 10th iPhone anniversary). Apple iPhone 4 is also missing. This phone introduced the terms 'build quality and design,' into smartphone world. The iPhone 6 Plus introduced Apple showing that their design team & engineers are failures, having introduced the phone with worlds biggest bezels....and being 'okay' at best.
I used to pull up next to yuppies using the brick mobile. I would take off my shoe at the lights and pretend to be them.Motorola razer was awesome, was a great phone ( still is actually, you can still get one).
Nyx Reaper that's not even my point. my point is that the shitbox iphone6 is famous for not having enough ram to operate properly and any demanding app would make it lag. if a brand new flagship phone that costs near 1000USD in my country can't run a demanding app it really can go eat shit. but the 6+ is not guilty for this, but that's for a whole new topic.
Remember when buying a phone back then, you got all of the phone accessories - plug, earbuds, cover, phone screen, etc.,?! Now today, you're grateful for just a phone charger plug!!
I loved the Apple Ipod in the early to mid 2000 time frame. I should have been interested in an iPhone but never bought one. I guess it was the price and the 2 year contract and the lack of keyboard buttons---I was slow to switch to a phone with a touchscreen. Didn't get one until 2015.
Nah, Samsung phones doesn't bring as much impact as the 1st iPhone did. The iPhone started a revolution, that started the modern smartphone industry. What Samsung did was only starting a trend with the various new tech they have, like the Note 1 or the S6 Edge.
yeah the 6+ did jack shit for the phone industry. it just finally gave Apple fanboys what Android had for years. The Note for sure brought the phablet to market and should have been on this list rather than the 6+. If they really wanted to include a recent phone, I guess they could include either the LG G5 or Moto Z for all the modifications that can be done to the phones.
I actually owned that Dynatec from 1985. The worst part was trying to get a number to connect and not drop every 10 seconds! One tree would knock you off, lol. I loved my walkie talkie phone in the 90s, but that 3310 was a durable dang phone and a GREAT first phone for my kids.
I agree with all of them, except the last one. You should add the first Android or one of the most iconic Androids, because they really changed the world too, making the smartphones more democratic. iPhone is still a high end device and Android changed that, and now, thousands of millions of people own a smartphone because of it.
Moto RAZR was ahead of its time. Its still a cool looking phone moto should bring it back out as a smartphone, with two screens, 3 if you include the little one on the front.. Make that a touchscreen as well and I'd by it.. Have to be a bit bigger of course,,
Shouldn't the last one be a Galaxy Note or the phone that popularized the 5"+ phone? Those phones that made apple eat their own words saying the world didn't need big screen phones?
and stylus....anyway apple is just really good at marketing. no one give a shit about LG prada when it came out early than first iphone also others too. but the touch screen is really smooth on the iphone it's very impressive. anyway after 4S it feels like apple just following the step of android and way behind on some place.....
I think the Galaxy Note deserves a spot on this list. In ways it is very similar to the average smartphone, but it has some pretty good features that separate it from the rest. It does a lot of things right. It's a lot more innovative than the iPhone 6 too.
Yeah the Samsung Note was the first phablet, and boast the AMOLED screen. Don't forget about the Sidekick. That phone was very popular among teenagers.
I can't believe you forgot the Danger T-Mobile Sidekick. This phone was revolutionary back in 2003. It was the coolest phone and wildly popular with teenagers and young adults. This phone alone put T-Mobile on the map, and helped it compete with the more mature AT&T and Verizon.
was a great video till it pointlessly ended with the iPhone 6+
Rashaad Perry He should of included the Galaxy S3. That thing was really popular.

That phone became the most treasured prize possession in my life. Today I own a Samsung Galaxy note S9 but it did not give me the same emotion as that nokia phone. Mothers always know how to love their children with style. Love you mom.
Nokia N95 anybody? No?..........Ok.
Itw0rture yep me
me
Itw0rture n95 was the most popular phone at that time plus sony ericson w810i
😎
🙈💀
What is the iPhone 6+ doing there?
Galaxy note???
Really revolutionised the screen size and called as a phablet
@@Jp-zf7yg first note came out in 2010/11 ish
Sorry I got mixed up there
screen size its not really a revolution, it's only a bigger screen lol
Apple brought the first phone ever with a digital keyboard
first ever with multi-touch
unfortunately that could be only done by steve jobs, which is now dead and iPhone it's not revolutionizing anymore
4:39 I just realized that’s MJ’s phone from Spider-Man 3.
Lovely video .... I still have a nokia 3310
I'm not surprised
Same
Same
Are you planning to kill someone...
I still have the Nokia 6800a that opens up to a full keyboard and the screen would flip sideways so you could type and be able to read what you were typing. First phone that had the screen tilt when you turned it sideways when flipping it open to access the full lite up keyboard
Where is nokia n73 n95 ,sony ericson....
N95 +1
Nokia and Moto all day! 😁😁😁
I hope Nokia makes a come back...even with an Android
Chris Nokia is starting to make New phones on 2022
or 2020
Nokia is with windows , i hoping they going android too since nokia phone can take plenty beatings and wetting lol
blusoldierwoman No. They are not longer on Windows.
Nookiezilla cool ok
The Razr was great. It had great build quality, was stylish and the OS was simple yet fun to play with. Apple was probably the closest to match all those attributes since phones like the Razr went obsolete.
*Siri not available* 7:15 😂😂😂
connect to the internet
Haha oh yea yea
The first Android phone?A HTC?Was a real gamechanger.
No ANDROID? The top phone OS today?
no android so I disliked your video.

"BATTERY LIKE NOKIA"
why would you want a 1000 mAh battery in your smartphone
I think the samsung galaxy s8 was the next biggest thing- with one of the first ones to ‘get rid’ of the bezels.
Artemio Sandoval lg is bezeless 2 years before samsung did
Artemio Sandoval not revolutionary just a stupid gimmick
Whatchamajigger iPhone is the real gimmick
LG G6 for the bezel-less
HTC One M8 for the dual camera
HTC One M7 and Phone 5 for the stylish design (antenna bands)
Samsung S6 Edge for that edge display
Moto Z and iPhone 7 for that headphone jack removal.
xiaomi mi mix did first
I saw a lot of Motorolas, when I was in Middle School (2006-2009).
Good Memories =)
think the Note 7 should be added to the list.
Navneet Murti phahhah "the first phone with the explosion feature!"
+Jan Milavec ahhaha
The Note 7 is a time bomb in a phone
I got a phone called NEC 313e on three network on the 3/3/2003 when three started and you could video call on that
First Jihadi Phone
The first Galaxy Note should be included. That phone started the trend of combining phone and tablet (phablets). Apple, steve jobs himself did not even expect that it will be a norm to the point that he even called it 'unwieldly beast' and 'too big'. Now, all flagship phones has 5+inch screens.
+1 also to the galaxy note edge and galaxy s6 edge for introducing curved screens.
chen kaneki but, you don't see everyone rocking a phone as big as a Note series.
M. Arbah Binamin how is the iphone 6 plus in the video revolutionary then? It's just a larger iphone.
Why did you put iPhone 6 here? Right now it's only a phone it even doesn't have standart tech i phone like nfc
WIIZZPL This is a video from 2015 idiot 😑😑😑
AlfonsoJimenezMusic
well ok but why you are calling me idiot? did I said somethink bad to him or you or anyone?

wonhoe what
I don't get the joke :(
Nokia 3310 is the one hell of a tough and stubborn cell phone ever. IDK that why Nokia failing to compete in 2018.
Screen's ruined and unresponsive by any means.
ruclips.net/video/nYasmMSY3wA/видео.html nokia is still a king
Does anyone remember T-Mobiles Sidekick Phone?! I wanted that phone AND the Motorola Razor, when I was a kid!!
the s7 should be where the iphone is
ceaserjake areno Said no one ever.
You're such an idiot 😂😂😂 omg 😂😂😂
STOP
sub 4Sub Galaxy S7 has been awarded the best phone of 2016, get that up your ass ishit
What a dumbass
the galaxy note line was pretty revolutionary at the time being the first successful "phablet"
it is a phoblet or a phablet or tabone
the official term is actually phablet (any smartphone with a screen > 5.5"
Well, the term "phablet" was never official. And the first note had a 5.3" screen
why samsung not on the list?
yeah true on this freaking f***** didn't mention s*** about Samsung it's like if Apple made the phablets really the Note 2 was the biggest one at that time
Konrado Samsung did innovate something, Exploding phones.
They never were a game changer..they have some great products but have never released a phone that changed the industry
Techformative really mate, really?
Where?
iphone 6+ has 1gb of ram in modern days and its on the top 8 list of all time with 7 other greats lol...
the host is definitely a apple fanboy
+Justin Su A mid tier $300 android has 3-4 gigs :/ guy has no idea what he is doing
Nyx Reaper
that's not even my point.
my point is that the shitbox iphone6 is famous for not having enough ram to operate properly and any demanding app would make it lag.
if a brand new flagship phone that costs near 1000USD in my country can't run a demanding app it really can go eat shit.
but the 6+ is not guilty for this, but that's for a whole new topic.
Not true!!!
iPhone 6s is the best
+Matthew M. 4s is fine
prove it....
He is sponsored by motorola
And ur mom
+yomatimmy it isn't funny anymore
Remember when buying a phone back then, you got all of the phone accessories - plug, earbuds, cover, phone screen, etc.,?!
Now today, you're grateful for just a phone charger plug!!
That is what you get today. Opened a p20 pro. It had headphones, case, charger, the phone itself, and the headphone adapter.
True
I loved the Apple Ipod in the early to mid 2000 time frame. I should have been interested in an iPhone but never bought one. I guess it was the price and the 2 year contract and the lack of keyboard buttons---I was slow to switch to a phone with a touchscreen. Didn't get one until 2015.
Not using toucshreen until 2015?
iPhone 6+? hahahahahah
Kevin Lobo what are you laughing?
cause IPhone is shit
Skillerkiller HD haha cos its shit
Narrow minded people are shit,
Kevin Lobo I phone will never be what gala,y is
next revolutionary phone is definitely by samsung
+King Zak shhh... shut up. apple pays Samsung to make processors. who's copying, now? huh? 'punk!
DavidAnims that's not copy..its called *business*
Nah, Samsung phones doesn't bring as much impact as the 1st iPhone did. The iPhone started a revolution, that started the modern smartphone industry. What Samsung did was only starting a trend with the various new tech they have, like the Note 1 or the S6 Edge.
+M. Arbah “Nero” Binamin what r u talkin about? we already know that.
+Shubh Vegas ikr. but they arent really "original" anymore
IPhone 6+? Really? ... Galaxy Note in my opinion...
I like my iPhone 6s+
yeah the 6+ did jack shit for the phone industry. it just finally gave Apple fanboys what Android had for years. The Note for sure brought the phablet to market and should have been on this list rather than the 6+. If they really wanted to include a recent phone, I guess they could include either the LG G5 or Moto Z for all the modifications that can be done to the phones.
the iPhone 6, revolutionary, my ass
+Edgy Xans yeah totally a good phone totally doesn't cost a price of a gaming pc. and totally doesn't have wireless charging and usb type-c.
no one want to die from galaxy note at all
I actually owned that Dynatec from 1985. The worst part was trying to get a number to connect and not drop every 10 seconds! One tree would knock you off, lol. I loved my walkie talkie phone in the 90s, but that 3310 was a durable dang phone and a GREAT first phone for my kids.
How old are you
iPhone, and no Android?
ikr
Android was just a copy of ios and the iphone.
android was before ios
android was released before iphone
Apple fan boy at its finest
I found an angry fandroid right here 😂
AlfonsoJimenezMusic I use apple and Android. got a HTC 10 and a iPhone 6
Chewy Dew It doesn't change anything XD
AlfonsoJimenezMusic yep even tho I support apple and Android I'm a angry android person xD "OK"
Chewy Dew Yep you're such an angry hater LOL
so nothing big since 2007?
wow...
You missed Nokia 6600 and 7810, the first mobile that allows people to install apps and games using Java and Symbian OS.
Apple 2017 😍! 10th year and it will revolutanarize everything
...you forgot the quotation marks
Amal Edward They will remove the charging port
Borderlands 4 life, That'd be good, that means those overpriced "AirPods" Would come defualt, it'd also come default with a wireless charger.
XD LOL APPLE REVOLUTIONIZING? HAHA APLLE IS SUCH A BAD PHONE.
Another video of a apple fan boy
*an
I agree with all of them, except the last one.
Have to be a bit bigger of course,,
I would love to have a moto razr again with futuristic features.😍
2:59 Guess who: “I always carry around my blackberry and I hide illegal emails and I lost the campaign because I’m a corrupt lady”.
Um are you a bad guy?
Shouldn't the last one be a Galaxy Note or the phone that popularized the 5"+ phone? Those phones that made apple eat their own words saying the world didn't need big screen phones?
and stylus....anyway apple is just really good at marketing. no one give a shit about LG prada when it came out early than first iphone also others too. but the touch screen is really smooth on the iphone it's very impressive. anyway after 4S it feels like apple just following the step of android and way behind on some place.....
Alert alert android fanboys coming
Be cool =D dude
+Be Cool alert alert, Apple fanboy with an IQ of 27 incoming.
I think the Galaxy Note deserves a spot on this list. In ways it is very similar to the average smartphone, but it has some pretty good features that separate it from the rest. It does a lot of things right. It's a lot more innovative than the iPhone 6 too.
Phones had much smaller display before *Galaxy note series*
What about Nokia 1100? I heard that it is the mostly sold phone on the globe in history. It was affordable too....some 35-40 USD in its time.
lol biased video, failed to introduced the andriod at all, even though, there is android logo near his monitor adjacent to steve job logo, still...
I see now lol I gave a thumb down
No android phone? Really? The biggest mobile OS is not revolutionary, but the 6+ is?
zte axon 7, Xiaomi, One plus. is an example what revolutionary is. the price of the phone is really low and it has better specs than an iPhone 6+
alec cooks sure but this video is of 2015. At that time the creator decided to rappresent that reality whit that phone
Even in 2017, the phones you named are not supposed to be revolutionary.. Cos we were not discussing about price being a factor here
In 2000, I bought my first Cell Phone, the Motorola STARTAC. It was a great phone, had it for 3 yrs. it fell so many times and did not crack or break.
Samsung Note series should be in the list.
Yeah the Samsung Note was the first phablet, and boast the AMOLED screen. Don't forget about the Sidekick. That phone was very popular among teenagers.
the only phone i knew out of the whole collection was iPhone 6+. Man i am soo young
how old are you!
6 years?
who let you use the internet!!
Ummm well I know the blackberry and both iPhones
haaahaaaaaa
i knew every phone on this list, and I'm 14.
+JacksonFx l Motion design I know the designs, but I don't know the name.
The only legendary phone is
Carl johnson's one
Ahh shit here we go again
@@_aatifshaikh all we had to do...
Samsung Note was also a game-changer. It was the first phablet.
