My basturd cure on Elongated holes (not elongated Musks): Is 1)Cut a bit of Copper tube that fits the Bolt snuggly, 2) Cut it a little longer than the clamping surface ... 3) When said Bolt reaches copper before clamping surface.. 4) Keep tightening bolt to Crush, mate and fill in the Elongated hole .. NB Copper will Crush (if you didnt cut it too long) and take up/fill in any Elongation in worn out holes ... better than Locktite or any glue (if you didn't cut it too long or use 13mm tube on a 6mm bolt.. get it?) 👍 Ps Copper tube won't take out Elongated Musks however hard you try ...
In regards to the sender leaking, a gauge isolator isn’t a bad thing to have! They can cost around $300 but agricultural suppliers that deal with herbicide and Chem spraying should stock them or at least order them in.should be around $60-$80 well used to be anyway, they use a diaphragm and a second fluid with a capillary to actuate a gauge or in this case a sender. Unless you managed to find one that doesn’t give up! Good luck!
Makes bad sounds = stop, tear into it….YT creators be like, “kill it!” “ send it!” “All the timing & and all the boost!” “She gonna go real good for a few seconds!”
That's happened to my father's d16 honda civic. She had 2 noise at idle, one was the clutch slave or fork. And 2nd the engine some guy give to it over 7 of clearance in the piston. I tear a part the engine and I found that the pistons on idle was hitting the cylinder walls because of the excessive clearance clearance
@@Camp_Dogs Yes, that's right, you're right! But if you have the opportunity to test on blocked long runners of the intake manifold 5efhe acis, do it! You will be surprised) Perhaps the volume of the runners and the volume of the manifold are pulsating, maybe the sum of the angles that the air flow overcomes twists it so that the mixture flies in better, maybe, and most likely, gasoline mixes better with air, but the difference is too great to just ignore it).
Hi campdog great content just a quick advice will the 4efe pistons work for boost on a 4efte as there is no 4efte pistons in SA boosting around 1.2 bar
Hey mate, I’ve installed the larger 4AGE arp head studs on my 5EFTE build do you recommend a retorque after run in? As I can’t seem to get a correct answer online, They are brand new with washers you mention in your older video
hello, in relation to the previous NA GT starlet videos, do you know any way i can get obx headers? XD ive been searching high and low for those NA headers for my own 5efe hahaha, any help is well appreciated
The obx ones are junk, crap stainless steel welds and they go full after a few heat cycles… Pacemaker make a nice mild steel ceramic coated set for under $400
@@Camp_Dogs i would like to say thankyou for the reply i just got my gt tuned its running 358bhp and from 240 to what it is its awsome i know how you guys feel :DDDDD
🤣 That's hilarious. Imagine getting chopped by that!
what a weapon lads
You two sick units !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
I seen the issue with torque converter bolts so many times over the years.

Camp Dog will be back, and faster than ever 😎 Keep up the awesome work. Great show as always lads. 👍🏽
Excellent stuff as always godspeed legends
Spotting that shadow was good diagnosis and spot on fix! I’ve seen people pack em up with washer’s ffs!
You’re kidding 😆 we are dodgey and wouldn’t even do that
Thanks for sharing. Man I miss Darwin!

Clearance
Wow that’s a lot of clearance 🙁🙁
torque convertor bolts loose?
Mil-spec wiring !
Have you heard the legend that a 5efhe intake manifold acis fitted to long runners gives an incredible boost with 4efte?
Yeah but that’s not the case. You don’t want long runners with a boosted setup.

Love the auto, maybe transbrake to spool off the line?
not another Chinese Bosch plug, was it ?
More content on this please 🤘
Coming soon
good videos ✌
Where did the oil come from?
Faulty pressure sensor. Was leaking internally
knock Knock.
who's there?
Connecting rod bearing

@MattBerrymotorsport
They are made out of the same material… just slightly higher comp. Run e85 and you will be fine.

Nah don’t re torque them. Just torque and go.
Apparently it distorts the bore a little bit but we haven’t had any problems.

Everything all good, just busy with life. Nicks starlet going on dyno this coming Thursday. We plan to film it

Hi Matt, do you have the 4efte valve clearances to hand please ?
10 on intake and 12 on exhaust
you gearbox is original starlet
ep91 ?
No it’s from paseo
Something definitely not right seems like timing
How do I got about forging a 4efe ? As in compression ratio and all that
Depends what fuel you have available. How much power do you wanna make
@@Camp_Dogswant to make about 250 to 300bhp, only have 95 octane in Ireland
show yours ignition map and target afr fuel map!
Can do. Can chuck it in the next video 🤘
SUPER LAGGY
Weak oil pump damaged bearings
