This legitimately makes no sense which is saying a lot for Trump. The US is already the largest EXPORTER of LNG to Europe outside of the EEA. Also as mentioned within the video the only thing really stopping the EU from importing even more is capacity both on the EU and US side.
No, America produces enough oil to meet its own needs. The problem is American oil companies selling their oil overseas and buying foreign oil to sell in the US. All about profit and greed.

A nation can unilaterally lower prices by increasing supply or by subsidies intended for that purpose. Saudi Arabia does it all the time to keep other OPEC members in line.
