It looked pretty decent but only had that quick go on it. Will need to test it a bit more as it doesn't feel 100% stable at the moment. I'm looking forward to doing something with the others, ideally pull together the ROMs and boards needed for something cool to have in the collection
I ended up sending it back. Was a cheap one off eBay but don't think it has the range needed for board repair. Tried it on video signals and wasn't getting anything. Any suggestions welcome as I'm at a loss on what to buy. Cheers for watching.
@@GoodwinsPlace Rigol if you can afford it hantek if you are on a budget just research the frequency you need and anmout if channels etc also avoid the hanteck of you need a lot of memory.
@@flibble666 thanks I'm only going to need something basic just to see if there are signals where they are meant to be, I doubt I'll get that advanced with them and if I did I'd upgrade later on. Cheers for the info.
Thanks Stu. Yeah WH2 seems to be booting and playing at the moment, but it could still do with a look at as it takes a few tries to boot. Possibly just some dry solder joints rather than ROMs

Hi mate, would you be able to repair a ps2 motherboard with a suspected blown fan fuse. I accidentally cut through one of the fan wires when screwing it back together. Now I’ve got no power from the fan port on the motherboard!! I can send you the mother board and arrange payment don’t mind paying upfront. Thanks
Thanks Chris for the heads up. Will give that a go on them to see if I can get any output. 👍 The World Heroes 2 is working great now, I had to reflow the eeprom next to where the corrosion was and now it boots and plays perfect.

Yeah, it's fully working now, put a short out on it the other day. Did the connections in one of the boards and it's working now.
At least the fighter is working, hopefully the other two will come in useful for spares.
I think it needs a bit more work but it is promising so far.

I can't take on any more repairs at the moment, maybe in a few weeks time. You could try someone like Phil (The Cod3r) as he does repairs full time.
