I'm sending you a big hug. I lost my dog the day after boxing day and found your video about losing Eddie so sad. I'm keeping everything crossed for Gus, he's a gorgeous boy. On a positive note, after losing my Roxy who was 15, we adopted a rescue pooch in January, a few weeks later we found out she was pregnant. The week before lockdown she had one baby. So, we have a puppy and our adopted girl. Pup is absolutely beautiful and doing tremendously well. Such a contrast from the sadness. You just never know what's around the corner. 🦋 Awww Deb, I got all maternal with this vlog. I just wanted to give you a huge hug 💕and wave my magic wand to make Gus all better. Sadly I cannot do that. But just know that you have so many people out here who identify closely with both your struggles as well as your triumphs. When this situation does end, you will be very much in demand again I am sure. And it WILL end! Concentrate on the light at the end of the tunnel, rather than the tunnel itself. I send you the most positive vibes that I can muster and you can do as much “blahting” as you like as far as I am concerned. :):)🌹
Things seem to have piled up on you during your shelter in place time. So sorry, Debs, that Gus is ill. He is such a darling little pup, I know how much he means to you. Be good to yourself and be brave while you’re going through trying times. Remember, time passes and with it comes change. 💖🐶

Hi Deb, I am so sorry that Gus has been so poorly we all know how much you love him. We are all your virtual friends but we feel as if we know you well and we all care about you, so never feel alone in this world, you have us. It’s so hard for everyone who has lost their jobs, or like you are self employed and the work has dried up. We have never encountered this situation before but people can be kind and considerate and I am sure all of us would help you if you needed us. So don’t be sad we are all thinking of you (and Gus) see you soon😊

I’m sorry about your jobs being on hold. It must be very scary and so many are out of work at the same time. We are all in the same boat and pretty rudderless right now. Hopefully what the world leaders are doing works so this doesn’t last. Gus is such a good companion, hope he gets well and stays that way.

Sorry Debs to hear about the lessoning of your income but more importantly about hearing poor little Gus. Our little poodle Toby had pancreatitis as well. It took a little while but what we found is his food had to have zero i mean zero fat. we had to get special food from the vet that had less than 4% fat in it. Once we did that he perked up really well. Though little Toby is no longer with us he had a great life after that. it is a special veternarian dog food from life sciences i think. ask your vet. Gus looks like he just needs to heal. Sending love to you both! ❤️🙏
Oh Debs hopefully this week coming will be better... it’s awful but totally understandable that you’d be upset. The world is bonkers just now. Hope Gus is better soon and will be chasing his favourite 🎾 again! Perhaps the sunshine ☀️ will help in the next few days... sending lots of love 💕

I hope Gus recovers well. I feel your pain, I cried through your video. I lost my little Patterdale last year with pancreatitis, she was so poorly and I didn't want to put her through any more procedures as it was only prolonging the inevitable so we had to say goodbye. I have her close to me in a cabinet by my computer with all my other family dogs.

This was so sad to watch - your pain is so real and relatable to anyone with pets. My cats are everything to me, and to watch an animal suffer is incredibly hard. For you to be so physically alone and worried at a time like this is obviously difficult, but you do have so many virtual friends who are sending love to you both. Hopefully this week has seen an improvement in Gus, and Easter weekend will be a happier time for you so that you can take Gus for fun walks in the sun.💐
Ahhhh keep your chin up, things WILL get better as long as we all do what supposed to do. Because of my health problems and being a very young 70, i had a text saying i have to stay indoors until at least 30th June OMG!!!!!! Already been in for 3 months, but getting this horrible thing and being dead does not appeal to me lol. SO, I am going to stay in. Well our garden looks beautiful now and like i have wanted it for 10 years. Just waiting for our beautiful summer so we can relax and enjoy the sun, and planning our holiday for when this is all over. If we have family and loved ones and pets, we are all lucky hey. Sorry to hear about little Gus and his health issues. My daughters dog had pancreatitis and had to have food to help with that. He also has to take (expensive) tablets for his heart and on a recent vets visit for dental work she was told he has liver and kidney disease. This now means he has to have a different version of his food, a renal one. This is expensive too and his insurance no longer covers his heart medicine. Having said all this, he is still a happy little dog (spaniel) and although he has slowed down a lot he enjoys life. Wishing you and Gus all the best in these difficult times

How many of us are making banana pancakes? 😀 So feel you regarding Gus. I was grooming my cat (Chinchilla Persian) and accidentally cut him. We also work for ourselves and money is tight. He had to go into hospital overnight and had antibiotics and they sutured him up. Thinking of you and sending you big hugs 🤗

Please don’t worry about the tears, you are you warts and all ( not that you have any warts of course it’s just a saying ) and life is shitty at the moment for you. 🐾🐶🙏❤🇨🇦 pancreatic issues are hard. We had our gal in liver failure but with medication and subq fluids eventually helped and she is much better. We did have her on antinausa pills for quite sometime 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I lost 2 of my pets very close together. One I had to have put to sleep after exhausting all options but like you I would never forgive myself if I hadn’t of tried even though I didn’t have the money I banged it on credit card and still paying it off-I wouldn’t do it any different though. I had pet insurance and even that was used right up very quickly. Big hugs and well wishes for Gus. X
