Ich bin selbst seit langem an diesen Thema dran, habe aber bei weitem nicht dieses Level. Das tolle ist das ich alle gezeigten Features auch im Womo habe (Ruuvi, Shelly, Sensoren …) nur statt der Truma eine Alde, aber die Unterschiede sind gering. Es wäre wirklich klasse, wenn ich Hilfe bekommen könnte, auch so etwas zu bauen.
Danke! Es war ein langer Weg bis zu dem Ergebnis und ich habe viel über das System gelernt. Mit der Alde sollte das auch möglich sein. Wichtig ist, dass man die Large-Version verwendet.

I’ve just upgraded my Sergeant dumb system to Victron and Cerbo Gx, with solar, inverter/charger and when it arrives Orion. I’ve upgraded Truma to inet X which is way better, but would love it all on one screen and app with the weather. I’ve got two battery, indoor and outdoor temps and levels for fresh and waste water: I’m going to look at adblue now that’s a super idea! Oh - and when I figure out how you’re weighing the gas bottles that too! Tutorials - yes please!
Fantastic, wondering how you managed to control the Truma heating, I hope to be able to do the same because there is no Inet box in my new RV. And I was used to remote control the heating in my rental rv's. Thank you for this great video.
Dear Marcus. Very big complement of your integration. I worked myself also on some parts e.q the fill levels as well as the weather forcast. Your implementation is way better!!!. Currently I am working on displaying the surroundings for 25km on a map also based on GPS position. Is still have lots of issues with the limited functionality of QML as well as QT 1.1. I would be very interested in your QML files hope you are willing to share them with us. I know that there has been a tremendus amount of work in these. Big respect for your work!!

It' often not easy to find out how things work and each little progress is a little "victory" ;-) It seems that you have a lot of ideas, to improve the use of the victron system... *thumbs up!* I will share all of my code with the community, because I like the OpenSource idea and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to realize their ideas. I am currently writing the installers for the various projects to make integration much easier for everyone. I will make these installers and all files and graphics available to the community for free on Github. More on this soon in the next video, which is already almost finished. I know that many people are eagerly awaiting this and I hope everyone will understand that I also need some time to produce it. It will definitely be worth the wait, I promise!
Yess you are right, every small step is a little victory. The limitations of QML often are a hurdle specifically as the version in our VenusOS is rather old with limited information available. Displaying the weather forecast was a nice project with lots of challanges with the weather icons. I used the MQTT publishing to the Dbus from node red quite intensive for this. Will be curious to see how you solved this. Big disadvantage from my solution is that Victron will dump the MQTT server protocol in it's current version. As I am relying on this we will have to start over or do not upgrade. Looked also in your other video's, using the ESP is very clever for the Truma, something I did not think of as I was concedering to integrate this Yes i'm eager for your code but will wait, so take your time. I can mail you some pictures of my results if you are interested, do not know to write a PB in this youtube reactions. @@roadbuck

This is truly incredible work! I have tank sensors that connect via rv-c protocol. does your modification allow for "alias" tank names for a more accurate description in the user interface?
@@roadbuck no Venus os pulls a name from the rv-c device and just passes it along but my camper has 2 black tanks and 2 grey tanks so in the tank view there is no way to tell between them.
@@roadbuck I talked to the GUI mods developer and he said it was an issue with Venus os and his mods couldn't change the name of overlay an "alias" name without breaking the data set

Ich habe mir auch gerade einen Raspberry Pi mit Venus OS bespielt und würde nun ebenfalls gerne meine Combi 6E, meinen MaxxFan und diverse Sensoren, etc. dort integrieren und darüber steuern. Leider bin ich noch neu in dem Venus OS Thema und so wäre ich dir für weitere Infos / Tutorials, wie man die einzelnen Sachen einbindet und das Frontend entsprechend anpasst sehr dankbar. Wirklich toll gemacht. Schade, dass ich eine zu alte Heizung habe, die Integration würde mir gut gefallen. Sobald das neue Venus GUI V2 aus der Beta raus ist, möchte ich das mit meinem Raspi nutzen, würden die ganzen Modifikationen auch in die neue Ansicht integrieret werden können? Besonders die Shelly Integration interessiert mich hier sehr.
Danke. Mit der GUI V2 wird es wohl noch nicht funktionieren und ich weiß auch nicht, ob ich das für die Zukunft in Richtung V2 entwickeln werde, da es unterschiedliche technische Abläufe sind. Ich finde die V2 chic, aber für mich fehlt die "Usability", da man wieder zu viel blättern muss, um an Informationen zu kommen. Genau das ist es, was ich versuche zu vermeiden und mit meinen Modifikationen kompensiere.

Hi. This is in progress. GitHub projects as well. It's not the same like the GuiMods, because we both modify system-files. Kevin was first to do that and so I do not want to disturb existing Installations. There will be installers that do about 90% of the installation for the user. The remaining 10% are "hamdmade", but I'm writing detailed instructions for all my modifications and there will be a "video-workshop" for each module with step-by-step instructions.

Sollte Dein Auto auf Ducato Basis sein, könnte ich dir einen Hack für die Einbindung des Dieseltanks liefern, wenn gewünscht. Ich wäre auf jeden Fall sehr an den Tuts interessiert!
Hallo Christian, vielen Dank für da Lob. Der AdBlue Füllstand kommt derzeit noch über einen Mopeka Pro Sensor. Habe aber schon ein kleines Seitenprojekt, um das ggf. vom OBD2 abzugreifen... Gerne auch Infos, wie man den Dieseltank "abgreifen" kann. Ich hatte da schon mit dem Gedanken gespielt direkt an den Tankgeber zu gehen, da dort ja eine Messung über den Widerstand erfolgt...

Ja. Die Sensoren sind sehr einfach einzubinden. Mopeka sind Dank Bluetooth ganz einfach. SuperSense und Votronic sind per GX Tank 140 angebunden, da sie spannungsbasierend arbeiten
Es wäre schön du würdest alle deine tollen Umrüstungen mit uns technikbegeisterten Campern teilen. Der einschaltbare Landstrom, Wetter, Füllstände für Wasser und Gas, und die Lichtanlage. Für Truma und MaxxFan wird es ja eine Anleitung geben. Es ist unglaublich was du da geleistet hast. Alle Achtung!!!

Yes, the tutorials will be for beginners, too. Actually I'm writing installers to make it as easy as possible... Files will be on github as well with a step by step documentation and a lot of pictures...
@Marcus - You are a legend for cracking the Truma remote use without iNet. I have been hacking the process by using a relay to create a fake reading on the thermostat but this is next level. When are you going to come down of the mount with the stone tablets :)

Hi, I didn't work with the RV-C protocol yet, but is the "alias" name somwhere in the GX-Device visible? Then this should be no problem.

Wirklich toll gemacht. Schade, dass ich eine zu alte Heizung habe, die Integration würde mir gut gefallen.
Sobald das neue Venus GUI V2 aus der Beta raus ist, möchte ich das mit meinem Raspi nutzen, würden die ganzen Modifikationen auch in die neue Ansicht integrieret werden können? Besonders die Shelly Integration interessiert mich hier sehr.
Danke. Mit der GUI V2 wird es wohl noch nicht funktionieren und ich weiß auch nicht, ob ich das für die Zukunft in Richtung V2 entwickeln werde, da es unterschiedliche technische Abläufe sind. Ich finde die V2 chic, aber für mich fehlt die "Usability", da man wieder zu viel blättern muss, um an Informationen zu kommen. Genau das ist es, was ich versuche zu vermeiden und mit meinen Modifikationen kompensiere.

Hi. This is in progress. GitHub projects as well. It's not the same like the GuiMods, because we both modify system-files. Kevin was first to do that and so I do not want to disturb existing Installations. There will be installers that do about 90% of the installation for the user. The remaining 10% are "hamdmade", but I'm writing detailed instructions for all my modifications and there will be a "video-workshop" for each module with step-by-step instructions.

Ich bin schwer beeindruckt. Die Umsetzung ist nicht nur technisch echt toll, sondern auch optisch extrem ansprechend. Woher bekommst Du den AdBlue Füllstand? Sollte Dein Auto auf Ducato Basis sein, könnte ich dir einen Hack für die Einbindung des Dieseltanks liefern, wenn gewünscht. Ich wäre auf jeden Fall sehr an den Tuts interessiert!
Hallo Christian, vielen Dank für da Lob. Der AdBlue Füllstand kommt derzeit noch über einen Mopeka Pro Sensor. Habe aber schon ein kleines Seitenprojekt, um das ggf. vom OBD2 abzugreifen... Gerne auch Infos, wie man den Dieseltank "abgreifen" kann. Ich hatte da schon mit dem Gedanken gespielt direkt an den Tankgeber zu gehen, da dort ja eine Messung über den Widerstand erfolgt...
Was hast du für eine Hardware für die Füllstandsmessungen benutzt ?
ich habe verschiedene Sensoren verwendet:
Frischwasser: Votronic
WC: Votronic
Grauwasser: SuperSense
Gastank: SuperSense
Gasflasche: Mopeka Pro
AdBlue: Mopeka Pro

Ja. Die Sensoren sind sehr einfach einzubinden. Mopeka sind Dank Bluetooth ganz einfach. SuperSense und Votronic sind per GX Tank 140 angebunden, da sie spannungsbasierend arbeiten
Es wäre schön du würdest alle deine tollen Umrüstungen mit uns technikbegeisterten Campern teilen.
Der einschaltbare Landstrom, Wetter, Füllstände für Wasser und Gas, und die Lichtanlage. Für Truma und MaxxFan wird es ja eine Anleitung geben.
Es ist unglaublich was du da geleistet hast.

No, you neither need the iNet Box nor the iNet X Box. What you need is a CP-Plus. Exact technical informations comming soon in the next videos.

@Marcus - You are a legend for cracking the Truma remote use without iNet. I have been hacking the process by using a relay to create a fake reading on the thermostat but this is next level. When are you going to come down of the mount with the stone tablets :)

Ich warte auch auf eine Integration für die Alde Heizung. Bitte unbedingt vorbereiten. Bei unserem Knaus Sun900 wird die iNet Box schon gar nicht mehr mit ausgeliefert.
