Rates of Reaction: 6 marker on finding rate at t=3, determining order and finding k from Conc/Time graph. MCQ on finding grad from arrhenius and MCQ on identifying 0 order Rate/Conc graph Equilibrium: Kc didn’t come up, Kp did tho. Just finding value from figuring out mole fraction and multiplying that by total pressure to get pPa to then put that in Kp expression,, needed units too. Needed to determine (by ticking one box) how catalyst and something else (sorry cant remember) affect Kp (inc/dec/same) Explain how temperature affects Kp value Acids and Bases: Ka came up HEAVY. Weak acid conc from weak acid/strong base graph, pKa value, Ka value, What assumption do you make for the simplified expression of Ka ([H^2] version). Basically Ka questions. What indicator is suitable for the graph. Draw curve of best fit for graph. Enthalpy and Entropy: Use enthalpy of formation values and entropy values and to find Gibbs energy. Born-Haber cycle and find LE. I think that was it? Cant remember. Redox titration: I don’t think it came up im ngl, there was a question with I- ions but genuinely cannot remember what they wanted. Electrode Potentials: Redox systems, finding acidic and alkaline reactions for an oxygen-hydrogen cell, drawing a fuel cell, standard conditions for determining E/V Transition elements: MCQ about presence of ions, Cobalt complex ions
For module 3 Group 7: Use of Cl for water treatment, MCQ about which reaction is NOT disproportionation, Reactivity of halides, Displacement reaction Group 2: Ba and it’s reactions. Type of reaction Ba(OH)2 undergoes to form BaCl2 Bonding: Explain the bond angle (120) in SO2 and SO3. Why does SO2 form a polar molecule and SO3 doesn’t (despite both have polar bonds)? Rates of reaction: Constructing exothermic enthalpy graph. MCQ on boltzmann distribution and What is the enthalpy of neutralisation Periodicity: No IE (period), Explain the melting points of Si(1610? It was a 4 digit 16?? no.), Al(6??), P4(44) and S8(114) (6marker) Thats all I can remember fr but he was VERY accurate in my opinion only thing he was wrong about was Kc (for Paper 1 anyway) but that could always come up in Paper 3 :)
multiple choice techniques like elimination. cross out choices that you know are wrong. other than that its knowledge. even if you dont know the answer if u eliminate the ones u know are wrong you have a higher chances on your guess.
@@H1-NMRwhy so rude😭 at the end of the day they’re year 13 students they want all the help they can get. Ofc we know James focuses on OCR A but they may not know. I always see you commenting mean replies to people just asking a question. nice to see you still comment on his vids tho lol
If you read the description or the title of the video it’s an OCR A video he only teaches ocr as that’s what his college does so no your not getting a vid for edexcel
Your predictions were really good! Thank you so much! 🥳
the predictions were spot on sir
Thank you so much for this hope you make paper 3 aswell!!

this was pretty accurate 😭😭
Super predictions sir thank you so much
Really appreciate this
Your content is fantastic and I recommend your videos to me tutees.

I have 2 exams on the 10th of June , chemistry paper and a religious studies paper . What advice do you have with 2 exams in one day?
Prepare on time so you don’t stress on the day of the exam
For those who (once they've) finished the exams can you guys give an update on what (roughly) came up based around the predictions??
sure
