Still by far my favorite riff/intro for the entire Narrative album. AJ and all the guys deserve so much respect. Their music is hard, it's deep, it's provocative and so relevant to today's issues. It speaks to so many different people. Can't wait to see these guys live again.

I really love this band. I'm usually into heavier stuff. However, they still satisfy my ears. His voice is just absolute. Howard Jones should do guest vocals to one of their tracks!

Finally a music video for "Evolve" one of my favorite songs. All their music is badass. "Narrative" is one of my go to albums. Was actually listening to it today.

In the early 2000s this band and many more would have been big. Many big bands from the early 2000s are no longer known lol I'm 25 so I could tell you how big bands were in the early 2000s and 2010-2014 I just recently checked out some bands and they sound good but like I said this type of music is dead. Just look at Paramore and how they have changed. I'm happy to have witnessed great bands during their peak :)

Ok. I know race doesn't matter, but the fact that this guy is KILLING it as a black man in the metal genre of music is just badass. Pretty unique you don't see a whole lot of black folks stepping into the rock genre. Goes to show that if a white guy can kill it in the rap genre, a black guy can kill it in the rock genre! Keep up the awesome work you guys rock!

I got to meet these guys at Aftershock a few days back, I ended up backstage hanging out with them and watched their set. They are all incredibly down to earth and talented, they sound fucking great live, and I am excited to see them gain popularity and fame.
Tis song carries really important massage. It´s written in the first words that shows up on screen-"We blindly follow ideas that have divided us into warring fractions"-The more we split to the right and left, the more we loose I say-Dont think bout right/left path, think about the golden path in the middle, because its the only right path.

Great song, the tune and the meaning are really good. This band has proven time and time again to make epic songs and I suspect that part of their capacity to produce these masterpieces is the fact they have a singer with a unique and awesome voice.

This is the closest I’ve heard his voice sound to Lajon Witherspoon who he supposedly sounds so much like and he still doesn’t sound like him.
Very good vocalist though!
There are a lot of similarities in the music and singing style. This guy's voice is a lot deeper and his roar probably sounds a lot more metal than Lajon, but I don't think he sings as well.

Agree to disagree. I don't see the similarity in voice. This guy has a very breathy voice, and Lajon's is deeper and smoother. They just don't sound anything like each other to me. *shrug*
I've listened to Sevendust since Home and have seen them live about 8 times. I'm just not hearing it, but maybe it's just me. I'll concede that. I like both bands, but at no point have I ever thought they sounded anything alike.
