well. the thing is , everything what does this plug in, is already in davinci resolve... and if you little search, its much more simple with more options..
I like to see all the options and then I can assess what I need and what will do the job best. I’m always researching everything before buying anything.
so on the adobe extensions it looks like you can drag and drop stock sounds and videos. but is there no window version of that in this plugin? Also this demo of the plugin was fine. your far from a sell out by showing it to us
I'm not sure about the adobe stuff, but for this it just gets installed right into the program. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the vid too. Some people get a little nasty because of sponsored videos or because I simply show what types of options are available out there.
@JasonYadlovski let me rephrase cuase I said that in a sloppy way, so with the motion array extension in Adobe Premiere, you can actually search for footage and sounds in a window thats directly in the Premiere extension. But I guess the Davinci resolve version doesnt have one?
Oh I see, yeah I’ve seen that It works like that in Premier. It’s far as I know they don’t have that for DaVinci yet, but it might be coming in the future.
You mentioned a lot about this product but not it’s subscription price. I used your link and they do not show the product subscription price on the landing pages. Past experience makes me think the price is going to be high which is why they and you will not state it clearly. I come to your videos to get the straight information from you about the things you present, today was the first time I felt you were being evasive and acting like a carnival barker that just was trying to get traffic to their site, disappointing.

To be fair. You do also get stock footage, music, sound effects, templates, intros, overlays etc, for FCP, Resolve, PP and AE. So it’s not just a few effects and transitions.
Very true. There are a lot of assets there for the price that you pay. I Encourage people to do their own research and find what company offers the most of what they need.

It takes time and money to be able to do this full time like, any job does - we have families to support to. They do have free assets that you can download, which includes things like sound effects, music, overlays, etc. but the majority of assets require a subscription, including what is showing the video.
Well, it is obvious that this is not an independent review, but a commercial because without sponsorship I doubt that you would have made this video. There is nothing wrong with producing a commercial as long it is disclosed and you did. I guess you need to make money. Not that the video adds much to the DR community and your reputation as an independent DR expert, but this is just my opinion. I just hope we will see fewer of these videos.
But the one thing you didn’t talk about is money! Don’t they want a monthly subscription? And then once you stop shelling out money, the plug ins stop working? It’s a bunch of BS. You can look into the Boris/sapphire plug-ins which can be a one time payout and they’re good forever. And they have everything motion array has and more. And they not only work in Resolve, they also work in after effects. I usually love your videos… But this wasn’t a tutorial, this was an advertisement.

I'll continue to use Boris Continuum OFX. $195 for an annual sub or the option to buy a perpetual license. I feel it gives more bang for the buck.
