    Goodman, health to enjoy your new JCB 4cx . Seems like a prefect tool for your farm, better than a loader tractor as you can dig with the 4cx but not a loader tractor!!😊

    Is your silage pit higher than the loader can reach with the grab or does it reach higher than a 3cx

    • @MCMilkingIt

      It can reach a little higher than the 3cx. It is reaching to the top

    • @GRamerDim
      @GRamerDim Год назад +1

      Why would a farmer have a construction machine? A tractor is 100$ more versatile

    • @MCMilkingIt
      @MCMilkingIt  Год назад +1

      @GRamerDim a tractor with a loader wouldn't be capable of the same output when it comes to loader work like feeding silage which is the main job on the farm.

    • @ThingyGoos
      @ThingyGoos Год назад +1

      @@MCMilkingItmost farms that use a loader tractor as the main loader also use it for tractor work too, that's why it's unusual

      @patrickmoran3359 Год назад +1

      @@ThingyGoos a jcb 3cx or 4cx in the right hands!! you would never have to pick up a shovel or a sprong. Ya can dig holes clean drains push in fencing stakes the list could go on for ever. But!! in the right hands. In the wrong hands ya will just make a mess

    Nice machine that, best of luck, how many hours a year would you put on it with your system?

  • @charlesyeo8252
    @charlesyeo8252 Год назад +1

    The pro means it has electric joystick on the seat, so I presume the plus model is the same controls as your old machine. I have a very old all wheel steer telehandler, when I scrape beside a wall I put the rear axle at a slight angle then put in front steer and drive along the wall can you do that in the 4cx ?

    • @MCMilkingIt
      @MCMilkingIt  Год назад +1

      It won't switch steering options until tge wheels line up straight

    • @MCMilkingIt

      Works very well. Cubicles would be cleaner than indoor, we just use regular lime. Not hydrated, no sawdust

      @@MCMilkingIt I’m sorry I know nothing about your farm but do you milk and if so are the cows also laying on outside cubicles?

    • @MCMilkingIt
      @MCMilkingIt  Год назад +1

      @sandman8920 yes we are spring calving grass based. Milking cows are out at grass for most of the year. We will milk off the cubicles a bit I'm the shoulders of the year. But cows are dry during the winter

    • @MCMilkingIt
