I love how J-Hope is just so focused on watching Jimin, and the moment Jin tries to dance like Jimin Hobi is shaking his head like "Hyung, don't ruin this perfection." But also, can we just talk about how entranced Hobi is while watching Jimin dance. He seriously looks like he is seeing stars, his eyes are all lit up and he just has this expression of "Wow" on his face.
The whole time during Jimin's Jin and Namjoon were like proud parents watching their child perform while Hobi was like a nervous dance teacher watching their student. "Jimin-ah, show us your face... good, that's it!" Side note - I love these moments when we get to see a calm, focused Hope!

I absolutely love this video mainly because I just noticed that Hobi's being the professional dancer that he is analyzing everything. Sure he is commenting little and smiling throughout Jimin's Lie performance, however at 0:28 you can tell that he was following the way Jimin moved and made small moves with his head throughout the dance too like when he titled his head back. He's completely focused and clearly shows that he is taking in the dance. And then when the video gets to 1:39 and Taemin comes on, you see Hosoek's expression fully change to more of a serious look, he is silent and is just watching like a hawk. Even though he wasn't dancing on stage he was still doing his job which is why I couldn't look away. *I Stan A Dedicated Dance King* 💜
A lot of people are trying to interpret J-Hope's gaze so let me put my perspective: As a dancer and choreographer myself, I get really passionate when watching dance vids. So sometimes I find myself completely entranced to the point that I'm entirely focused. People think I'm analyzing the dance, and sometimes I am, but most of the time I just get so heavily into a hyper-focused zone that I forget everything around me. I recognized that look in Hoseok's eyes. He's in a zone and I can see his passion in how direct his gaze is. If he looked at my dance like that, I'd be honored because it tells me that he's genuinely interested in watching my performance. It's not always from a dance teacher's perspective, it can also be a way we unconsciously show how interested we are
although despite all that make up, you can still see that he has some severe dark eye bags :( I bet they had a lot of stress at that time and he didn't sleep enough, I'm glad he and the group got some well deserved resting time in Hawaii 😊
if you know some of kpop history you would know that RM and Jin referred abt Taemin as "to be born a dance genius " and "a legend " . At that time , in 2016 , Taemin was already recognized as a genius dancer and a Legend by the entire kpop industry due to his performances with Shinee and as a solo artist , and the collaboration with Jimin was an act of friendship on the part of Taemin because Jimin had wanted this for a long time . And yes , this collab is legendary and I also think that this collaboration and Taemin's advice gave Jimin more self-confidence for his future projects.

if you know some of kpop history you would know that RM and Jin referred abt Taemin as "to be born a dance genius " and "a legend " . At that time , in 2016 , Taemin was already recognized as a genius dancer and a Legend by the entire kpop industry due to his performances with Shinee and as a solo artist , and the collaboration with Jimin was an act of friendship on the part of Taemin because Jimin had wanted this for a long time . And yes , this collab is legendary and I also think that this collaboration and Taemin's advice gave Jimin more self-confidence for his future projects.
