该剧改编自亦舒经典同名小说。
出身于上海普通人家的95后女孩麦承欢（杨紫 饰），在母亲刘婉玉（何赛飞 饰）的催促下，与男友辛家亮（牛骏峰 饰）议婚。但辛家优渥的经济条件让这段原本平等的感情关系变得失衡，同时，麦母对女儿终身大事的过度插手，加速了麦承欢和辛家亮的分手。在孝顺父母和忠于自我之间，麦承欢艰难求索，她逐步从母亲强势的关爱中挣脱，在 工作上更专心进取。麦承欢的蜕变得到了继祖母的认可，把自己最看重的酒店经营重任托付给她。继祖母的亲孙、职业酒店经理人姚志明（许凯 饰）在与麦承欢的合作中逐渐对她理解并认同，俩人成为工作伙伴，携手并进。而在生活中，姚志明被麦家烟火气之下的真情包围，与麦承欢的感情逐渐升温。从“承欢膝下”到“成就自我”，麦承欢走出了一条独属于自己的不平凡的成长之路。
►Synopsis:
Mai Chenghuan, who comes from an ordinary family in Shanghai, was urged by her mother, Mrs. Liu, to discuss marriage with her boyfriend Xin Jialiang. After his father died, when Xu Kai, as Zhiming, was at the table eating, his crying and sounds of sadness brought tears to my eyes. The feelings he portrayed were true emotion. He did a great job in this scene!

This drama is one of the best I have seen. Croton’s English translation helps to appreciate the script which is well written. The actors acting are superb and ordinariness of the story makes it very relatable. Bravo.

obviously you haven't experienced the death of someone you have loved. The way he was eating, his inwardness, his pain and stuffing his mouth were all true expressions of sadness. Xu Kai did a wonderful job in this scene!

We all lost our loved ones but to be honest since it's a drama I also found it funny but reminds me of my mum then it becomes emotional 😢

I don’t find anything funny about this scene. Xu Kai portrayed sadness at the death of a parent even though Yao Renfu was not a good father. It has nothing to do with a kid eating and crying at the same time. I too, as an adult went through a sad period where I tried eating my dinner and crying at the same time. I shook while crying and tears falling onto my food and I continued eating it. I was like a zombie during that time. And watching this scene brought back sad memories. So I can relate to it and I don’t find any humor at all.

Oh gosh, another blow in the making. The happiness’s got SHORT LIVED? Challenges may come and go but this series never runs out of topic that happens to people in every walks in life. Sometimes in a plot there maybe a sad news but then it ended up that the result of the test was a mistake. Hopefully on the case of Chenghuan’s mother lungs having a shadow WIILL BE NEGATIVE. I wish that Mao’s have a good result as her cunning husband is A JOKE in the first place. Yao Zheming/Xu Kai in his handsomeness demeanour❤and Chenghuan/Yang Zi plays her role as a great girlfriend. I will have to quote the words or a statement that Chenghuan’s mother said. “ I WISH MY FAMILY --HAPPINESS AND JOY”. this series from start to this episode i dont remember how many times i cried.its really painfull its about family matters problems trials parents realationships to theyre sons dauthers how to deal and understand both side..there acting really well poltraid convincing and u can get a lot of lessons in this drama how parents love the kids how the kids treat the parents and how important the time and forgiveness.and set a side everything we need to compromise and talk about the issue.dont hold angry and always get the opportunity to spend time with families before its to late..love this drama even i cry a lot and fell the pain..ok lets continue watching almost finish
