I am hoping that future US ladies are better jumpers than what we have now or they will never be able to truly compete!! RN it’s all about the Russians and rightfully so but the US used to have it so I hope they get it back someday!! Beautiful little sister right here !!
Now that we know what we know, unfortunately the Russian’s are most likely better jumpers because of an illegal drug doping program. I hope the Russian coaches are stopped soon. Their athletes need to be trained clean for the sake of these kids and for the sake of fair sport.
It should not be all about the jumps… it’s has unfortunately become that in the last 10 years bc of the Russians. Hopefully what happened at the Olympics can begin some semblance of a change for the future of the sport
wait. WAIT! did i just see a triple flip from a juvenile lady? did i see right? when i was skating we were lucky to get a double flip at the juvenile level. gorgeous skater!
And with proper technique to boot. At least from this video, I don't see any cheated toe pick jumps (no blade assist), which is something that cannot be said for the Russians. Hopefully she maintains that as she grows up. And with all those drugs and doping, majority of them Russian girls still can't jump following the ISU guidelines. Lol.
Sad that future of us figure skating depends on the girl who is Russian by origin. Sad that US can't bring up athletes of their own that can compete and are strong enough
@@danielkristianson208 Not to mention those Russian teenagers who are landing all those quads have very short careers due to injury and questionable training methods that would never be embraced in the US.
Wow. I love the fact she skated with a smile on her face throughout the program and seems like she really enjoyed performing. The G.OA.T. , the great Michele Kwan was the same at the same age, and just like M.K , Sofia is floating out there. Very impressive, keep going Sofia.
Was she novice in 2023?? Was she moved to junior level? Does the UFSA move intermediate and juveniles 1 level if they end up in the top 3 or 4 in the US Qualifying Series competition??
I wonder if maybe it's worth translating last names to avoid confusion? Bez-korovai-naia literally means Breadless(if from russian). Or Cowless, if it's Ukrainian. Much easier to remember then the tongue twister.

The Russians are throwing quads at this age lol

The spread eagle into the 2axel jump combo🤩This choreography is better than some girls 5 years older than her!
She didn’t make the coreo tho her coach did.
She’s got a bright future ahead of her.
Can’t wait to see her in the near future. Beautiful
She reminds of Alena Kostornaia (mostly because it’s the same program music). But she also reminds me of Alyssa Liu (because of the body structure).
The future of US Figure skating has arrived!
Not many medals for the US ladies unless some of them can start jumping quads -- it's the sad truth ...
Разбежались, Россию не догнать

@@falconeddie4109 какие методы сомнительны? И какая фигуристка завершила спортивную карьеру из-за травм от четвёртых прыжков? Что ты несешь, ты смешон

She's wonderful!
It sounds like she’s an Alena Kostornaia fan. ☺️ She’s my favorite too.
I noticed that too 😊. Wasn't that Alena's free skate music her last junior year? I'd say she's a pretty good role model for a young skater.
Amazing! Skillful and lovely!!!!
At the moment, the future of US ladies figure skating is most likely Isabeau Levito ...
She’s adorable
Wait dude I feel like you used to skate at my rink?? It's so cool to see where you've gotten!
Great job! Beautiful and talented!
USA how can we compete against Russian skaters?
By training a US Russian 😂
Beautiful routine. Wish you all the best!
Awesome!

US russian vs Russian,
OMG! YOU DID SO GOOD!

personal names are never translated
How old is she?
11 according to an article I just read from a local news channel in Washington DC. I had to look her up and she’s amazing!
Beautiful❤
Cute
They all need to work hard because Russians are on fire 🔥
this cute little kid, what's she gonna do? oh .............. 😲😲😳😳😳🤯🤯🤯
She's aDORable!
How old?

Хорошая девочка, но вторая часть музыка и фигурист отдельно, но это уже ошибка тренерского штаба.
Ok....@ :22 that smile....well...it looks forced. It's SHOUTING AT YOU like your acting, when you are, but it has to be more subtle.
This 1960s show. The comintary not accurate.
