My British grandmother was married to my Egyptian Muslim grandfather who legally migrated to the UK in the 50s or 60s. My mum was born in Doncaster and her parents were my grandparents. Non-EU immigration will not cease because EU natives are not producing an average of 2.1 children per family. We have created a society where it is considered 'cheaper' to replace an entire population to sustain economic growth and maintain a certain quality of life for the more fortunate. This issue is occurring in every Western EU country that has accepted (un)controlled non-EU immigration. EU countries that have not allowed this are safer and have preserved their national culture. However, they face unsustainable levels of population growth, which could lead to increased poverty in the long run. I wish we did more to support the middle class, promote higher birth rates among natives, and implement other solutions to ensure sustainable native EU population growth, no matter the cost.
What scared people into not having children? Could it be how they go on about the climate or the world being over populated? Could it be because of how expensive it is to raise a child these days? One thing I want to mention, if I remember correctly around the time Liz Truss was in office if not when she was in office a scary law was passed. The law made that made it so residents, those on visa's from other countries (mainly from those you mentioned) could easily be deported for security concerns. The crackdown was severe. Those who were from places that had unrest were deemed dangerous were put on the list. However at that time the list included those from India and a handful of other places. This may be considered an external factor as why some of the rate of migration went down for a time.

People also see that the most common religion that keeps returning in big numbers when there is a sexual assault crime for example is not Christianity or Buddhism, it's Islamic. Now of course, not every Muslim is responsible for this, not every Muslim is violent or a criminal. To claim that is terrible and vile! But I can see where us Europeans are coming from. Are we racist for being fed up with all of this? Are we racist for being scared that our wifes, girlfriends, mothers, daughters, grandmothers and aunts will never be safe again? It's important to remember that there's a difference between a legal definition of immigrant and a cultural definition of immigrant.

Non-EU immigration will not cease because EU natives are not producing an average of 2.1 children per family. We have created a society where it is considered 'cheaper' to replace an entire population to sustain economic growth and maintain a certain quality of life for the more fortunate.
This issue is occurring in every Western EU country that has accepted (un)controlled non-EU immigration. EU countries that have not allowed this are safer and have preserved their national culture. However, they face unsustainable levels of population growth, which could lead to increased poverty in the long run.
I wish we did more to support the middle class, promote higher birth rates among natives, and implement other solutions to ensure sustainable native EU population growth, no matter the cost.
What scared people into not having children? Could it be how they go on about the climate or the world being over populated? Could it be because of how expensive it is to raise a child these days? Maybe it’s because the newer generations are just selfish and don’t want to have to spend any money on a child or maybe they are addicted to their phones or maybe it’s because women have to work these days just to survive these horrible economical times and can’t afford to stay home with their children.
Instead of Western governments doing anything to incentivise people having children or trying to find out the root cause of why people aren’t having children they celebrate and promote lifestyles that are not conducive to having children.

One thing I want to mention, if I remember correctly around the time Liz Truss was in office if not when she was in office a scary law was passed. They only come to get free benefits, they don't intent to work and be a productive part of society and they don't want to be assimilated, as they should and respect the values and traditions of their new home. Everyone who comes legally, with papers and intents to work and obey the law and the set of values of his new country is welcome, the rest are dangerous and unwanted. The same thing has been happening for many years in Greece and it only results in people getting stuck in a place where they can't/don't want to work, living of the money the taxpayers pay, flodding the few and understuffed hospitals. At best they get to work (if they do) for 10-20 euros per day, getting exploited by employers and opening the door to the exploitation of locals especially in manual labor jobs.

Most of us know that a lot of immigrants come from countries where there is an ongoing/ recently ended war, where there is dictatorship etc and most us understand that these people seek refuge in countries where it's safe for them and their families.
But, here's the biggest issue around these riots and around the outrage and reactions on immigration in Europe. People also see that large groups of men enter our countries. The national news outlets do their hardest best to show women and children as well but when you look at video's taken by regular people that are circling on social media, those women and children are almost never to be seen. People also see that immigrants get ALOT of privileges when it comes to healthcare, wealth, housing etc. Healthcare, wealth and housing local people cant effort or can barely effort. People also see that immigrants are a major group when it comes to sexual and physical crimes. People also see that most European countries are forced to find solutions for their overpopulated prisons and when you look into the numbers, basically every European country have between 40% and 70% prisoners who have either double nationalities OR a nationality that is not from the country they are imprisoned in. People also see that the most common religion that keeps returning in big numbers when there is a sexual assault crime for example is not Christianity or Buddhism, it's Islamic. Now of course, not every Muslim is responsible for this, not every Muslim is violent or a criminal. To claim that is terrible and vile! But I can see where us Europeans are coming from.
Are we racist for being fed up with all of this? Are we racist for being scared that our wifes, girlfriends, mothers, daughters, grandmothers and aunts will never be safe again? Are we racists for being scared that our sons will end up being beaten, stabbed or killed by groups of immigrants or hell, people with immigrant backgrounds? Are we racists for being angry that our next generations will be completely replaced by immigrant background generations? Are we racists for being sad when we look at what our countries have become, our countries which are all being free and beautiful because our grandparents fought, killed and died for it to make it that way? Are we racists for wanting a change?
All of that is the real reason why people jumped the cannon when the false news was spread, all of that is the real reason why there has been so many riots in the UK, all of that will be the reason why Europe will follow soon with violent riots because all of Europe is exhausted, angry and sad and all it takes is 1 incident that ignites the fire.
You didn't mention the maddening delay of the Police in divulging the identity of the assailant. That delay helped fuel the fire of simmering suspicion, leading to a blow out.
