I have an iphone 2g that had jailbreak, I reset it and after doing so it started to loop the apple logo. I looked into it and I think it's because it had jailbreak and this caused the apple loop. can you help me? can this application help me? I tried to put it in dfu mode and reset it from both mac and windows always using itunes but nothing. I put it in itunes mode with the itunes logo and tried to reset it but nothing, can you help me?
@@TheiTunesFanboy thanks for your reply. it doesn't give me any error number, when i try to reset it from itunes i get this message: iphone was previously in dfu mode, but it restarted and that mode has been deactivated. to restore iphone from dfu mode, disconnect and reactivate the mode. i have already tried to redo dfu mode several times but i always get the same message.

The patched version of macOS may be the issue, but I doubt it. Here is an alternative tool that you can attempt to reset the NVRAM on your iPhone 4 with if it is GSM: github.com/parrotgeek1/Pluvia

Having problems with entering pwnd DFU mode on macOS Monterey and Catalina. When I select 1) ipwnder it says " [Error] Failed to reconnect to device" and after it, it says " [Error] Failed to enter pwnDFU mode. Please run the script again.". When I select 2) ipwndfu it does doing stuff and then says "[Error] Failed to enter pwnDFU mode. Please run the script again.". Any tips?

I wanted to downgrade because my iPhone had icloud on it ,but it turns out that activation lock is also a thing on iOS 5.1.1 🤣 I thought that activation lock and the whole icloud stuff was introduced in iOS 7 but I was wrong
i have an iphone 4 gsm model that was manufactured in may/june of 2010 based off the serial number (which means its one of the earliest models and should support ios 4.0) yet im only able to get it on 4.3.5 ive tried 4.1 too and that didnt even work. and i confirmed after hours of testing that it's definitely device incompatibility. any suggestions? because i would love to find an iphone 4 where i could actually successfully downgrade to 4.0 on
That is an issue I have heard of with other iPhone 4s. For example, I have never been able to restore the iPhone 4 I downgraded to iOS 4.0 to iOS 4.3.x, and I heard of someone else who couldn’t restore his iPhone 4 to iOS 5.

I know that some iPhone 4s are picky about which versions they’ll downgrade to, for my GSM iPhone 4 refuses to downgrade to iOS 4.3.x and I have heard of someone else’s refusing iOS 5 but accepting 4 and 6.
When i did this on high sierra 10.13.6 on itunes 12.7.4.80 it popped up with a “itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode” pop up and when i click no on enter recovery mode it says cant continue and when i click yes it continues but cant find it in recovery mode. I dont know what to do…

Restore your iPhone 4 back to iOS 7.1.2, clear its NVRAM, and reattempt the downgrade.

Is iTunes giving you error 9? If so, then your iPhone has a dead NAND, part of its logic board.

If it was manufactured before October 2011, it should work with iOS 4. I don’t know about units that were manufactured later, though.

This works in Linux too. I downgraded mine to 4.3.3 on my Ubuntu laptop, although sometimes Pwned DFU failed.
