I like you have got all the range in baby blue and today I received the toaster exactly like yours , to say i was disappointed is an understatement !! My Kmart $39 toaster was fantastic but , like you I wanted to match it all.
Reasonit wasnt even is because you're supposed to do an empty one first to burn off any factory finishes... shoukdve read instructions ax it's not a fair review tbh
My only issue is I would get a breville or something if they offered 4 slice 2 slot toasters like this one that are long but literally barely any companies make 4 slice toasters with only 2 slots they are always 4 slots and I can’t put my long pitta breads in
Worse toaster I have ever had ,has a mind of its own throws the toast on the floor sometimes burns toast ,even when turned down,and sometimes on the same setting it won’t toast properly .Pile of junk in my opinion.
I actually wrote to SMEG and advised that it doesn’t cook evenly and that some of the elements do not light up and I was told it was normal. Wouldn’t buy SMEG again.

I did an empty test as per instructions no difference it still burnt the bread on number 2.5 setting lol very disappointing
For $250 that does the same job as a kmart one... Definitely won't be buying one. Thanks for your reveiw 👍👍

Agree. My 15 year old breville does a better job.
