Are you worried about the government stepping in again and allowing tenants to default on rental payments? This is what really concerns me. Skip McCain

Who knows what the government will do. Fortunately, the last time they did that, it didn’t impact our portfolio. There were, however, a ton of local non profits that received federal money to help renters pay their rent. When that happened, some of our residents voluntarily defaulted in order to receive some of that funding.
Not growing a business because of speculative what-ifs seems like a bad strategy though. But, I also totally understand, and I can get caught up in going down rabbit holes if I’m not careful.

@Ryan Ingram Thanks for your response. I'm just speculating, but the government has taken some drastic measures since covid. I do want to move forward with rentals as I have flipped two properties. I'm just very cautious. I was burned on one of the flips that nobody thought was possible. God bless you.
